Anyone with a gmail account can put +anything after their email address and it will reach the same email so instead of me@gmail.com it could be me+pistonheads@gmail.com which people use for tracking and organising mails, but the random letters is a bit odd and plenty of scams via pistonheads so would be cautious.

I've noticed a bit of a crunch on mine going into 6th gear too, I'm a recent new owner too and haven't really had a chance to investigate much yet but would be interested to know if you find out much about it.

When I was looking for my Z recently I saw a few scam adverts on pistonheads, it seems pretty rife. I reported it to them and they did sweet FA, no reply to the message either, but it was a case of seller being "out of the country". Make sure you can 100% view the car before parting with anything, from what I've seen they recycle pictures and descriptions from other places (one of them was definitely sourced from the sold section on here). If it sounds too good to be true it probably is!
