Thanks for the advice guys will look into getting it raised on the HSD's first to see if this will give the clearance needed, should only be a few cm's more I need! (ahem)

Hey guys, Newbie Zed owner here hoping for a little advice, at the moment on the HSDs which are lowered 10mm on front and 20mm on rear, thinking of moving back to stock suspension perhaps holding on to the HSDs for now, have never driven the car on stock suspension so wondering what kind of difference I'll notice. The main reason for this is for the clearance, the front lip and rear scrape slightly as the driveway dips quite a bit at the pavement. I'd likely go to Abbey for the swap as I don't have the experience to do something like this at the moment, the other option would be to raise the ride height on the HSDs, would probably still need to get this done at a garage though as I don't have axle stands atm. Any recommendation as to what would be the best option? If I do either of these switches to raise the ride height what would be recommended after adjusting this, I guess maybe wheel alignment but anything else I should get checked after this? Hi all, I'm the proud new owner of Sam Mcgoo's supercharged 350z, it's my first modified car so a lot to learn here, previously had a stock 330ci. Not sure yet if I'm going to change too much, at the moment I'm just planning on detailing it so getting some products for that and probably switching back to stock suspension from HSD dualtech's due to some clearance issues with the driveway. Look forward to getting to know you guys

Thanks guys, great meeting you Sam, going to be reading manuals and forums all weekend I think. Gotta decide whether to keep her on the HSD coilovers or return to stock, will see if I can figure out an angle to get it into the carpark safely! Hopefully if there's a bit of sun tomorrow I'll get some pics

What wheel do you have/recommend, thinking about getting one for F6 as I've loving the demo

Thanks for the info guys, will source some more quotes and see if I can get it lower then, guess I'm just surprised it's so much more expensive than a GTR when that's worth a lot more and significantly quicker I'm a named driver on a BMW 330ci, though it's not as powerful as this it's RWD and no slouch. Also driven a GTR, i8 and MP4-C12 on experience days, not sure if that counts? Will see what the other quotes come back as but may give you a go if you feel there's a chance of getting it lower.

So my deposit has been paid on Sam's supercharged Z ( http://www.350z-uk.c...well-known-car/ ) and I'm looking into quotes A few details, I'm 30 with 6 years NCB, residentially parked in a pretty decent area, only quoting on 6k miles a year, social only no commuting. The previous owners insurance was more in the £500 area so I was hoping for close to that, any opinions appreciated not sure what I should be expecting, I am still waiting on a quote from Higos (formerly Livingstone Warman) who insure it currently.

Thanks everyone, I've been looking for a good while now and missed out on a few APS ones, I have a feeling none were as well cared for as this one though so I think it's all worked for the best I've noticed there are a few Z's just down the road from me, I'm sure I have noticed a lot more since I started looking myself though, none of them are as beautiful though Will no doubt be around these parts a lot more now after a while lurking, hopefully not making a fool of myself
