  1. I'd say start by posting some pics of the intake and exhaust here... you might find out what they are. That will give you some idea of what to do next. You don't want to remap it if you end up changing those, because then you'll need to have it mapped again:)
  2. Well I'm sure Nissan have employed their share of rubbish mechanics in their time. I'd want a second opinion from someone who really knows these engines (a good specialist if you have one nearby).
  3. There are a lot of reasons why FB is a waste of time!

The first step I'd say would be to get decent tyres on and have someone that knows what they're doing check that everything's in order (including wheel alignment). Maybe once the car is working as it should it will handle in a more balanced way No point in modifying until you know where the base point is.
  5. I have a diesel burning daily and always wonder how diesel ends up all over the pump handles, its no different to dispensing petrol??? I've heard it's because diesel drivers are wrong'uns
  6. Great zed... for some reason looks even more perfectly proportioned than your average zed Welcome to the forum.
  7. Sure, but I guess I was referring to your comment about the pace. All of these old Jap cars would be seen off by a Focus RS in standard form.
  8. Surely the tunability is a big factor, as it is with Skylines? I don't think that they're that quick as standard either (although admittedly I've never been in one). For me though, the Supra shape is a true classic - same with the 350z as it happens
  9. Great looking wing... I'm thinking I might get one as my last mod, so you're about 2 years too early
  10. Endorsements don't come much more emphatic than that!
  11. Now you just have to retrim the interior so it doesn't clash
  12. Very nice... my first thought was 'a bit yellow' so sounds like it's great IRL!
  13. What they said ^^ The BMW DTM orange is my pick of the ones suggested
  14. I got into Kavinsky for a bit after watching Drive. Night Call is such a tune
  15. How disappointing - you seemed like quite a sensible chap from your posts Pitbull is about on a par with Will.I.am for making rubbish music (in the last few years - the BEP did at one point actually make real music). Ke$ha isn't much better, so put them together and it's never gonna be pretty.
  16. How terrible - that's almost definitely in my top 5 all time worst songs
  17. Get your priorities straight mate.. and congrats
  18. Thanks mate, I just hope they're as durable as people here say, because for those sizes they're not bloody cheap
  19. A quick noob question that doesn't warrant a new thread - are tyres like the MPSS directional? I know that they're asymmetrical and so have to be fitted with the correct side out, but the tread also looks to be directional (which would then, by my reckoning, mean that you would need side-specific tyres). Thanks again.
  20. I had a louvred bonnet on my Caterham which didn't give me any problems
  21. Cheers mate, it seems like all the evidence is pointing that way Based on all the stuff I've read here and elsewhere, I'm thinking I should get away without rolling the arches on the Teins (doubt I'll go any lower unless I move to a country with no speed bumps). If anyone knows otherwise, please do let me know
  22. Yeah, I guess the first question I should've asked was what width tyre would sit square on a 9.5 / 10.5 inch rim. I've looked at a few different guides and calculators, and seen a few different results
  23. Thanks. That suggests that a 275 tyre is good for a 9 - 10.5 inch rim, which in turn suggests that on the 10.5 it will be stretched. Just wondering if people have experience with wider tyres on a 10.5 inch rim, and any problems I should know about.
  24. No one? C'mon, I know this isn't quite up there with a 'what tyres are best for a zed' thread, but surely it doesn't warrant being ignored completely?!
