I had this same discussion with a friend over the weekend. This is all my opinion of course. The flexis are there to take up the movement under acceleration/deceleration etc, by taking that away it will just put extra stress on the exhaust elsewhere and will inevitably break. Go for the cheapest Y pipe with a 2 year guarantee!

Question for you folks. How can I tell if my car is a 276 or a 300? It is a 55 plate registered on the 26th november??

IMO you could get a HR that isnt a cat C for only 1k more. I have always been told to work on the basis of paying 40% less than its true value for a cat C and 20% for a cat D.

Evening all. Really enjoying my zed still but thinking about making the exhaust a bit louder. I dont have the money for a full aftermarket exhaust at the moment and wont have for a good six months or so. Been thinking about having the middle silencer removed. I had this done on a Focus ST I used to own and I couldnt believe how much better it sounded! Is this something anyone has done on the stock 350z exhaust??? If so does it sound any good? Any videos etc? Would it drone? Thanks Nick

Yeah they are made in the same factory to my knowledge. I know they are the same car underneath 100%. Does the Fiat have stop start? I can only think that is the difference as my KA does have it
