  1. Haha this thread is out of hand, stopped reading at the point someone said they hope he touched some kids?!?! Wtf lol I did tw@ my gaffer today tho when he said we were working through lunch. So maybe there's some weight to the story.
  2. I feared as much lol.. Iv been using a deeper pile soft cloth thinking the deep pile would hold the dust and lift it off the dash, so you would definitely say a short pile microfibres is the tool for the job?
  3. Am I missing something?? I've never (ever) been one for cleaning my car, but I'm getting more and more anal about my interior, I've just sprayed my centre console piano black and I love the finish but I can't keep the dust away!! I know iv picked the worst finish in the world for it but it's not just that, it's all the surfaces, do I need a specific anti static cloth or dresser? Iv just ordered a bottle of "dressle" apparently that is quite good for it?? Hope someone can help.
  4. I can't recomend anybody as I'm all the way in leeds but as long as you don't have any deep gouges or scrapes then I would look for a powder coater. They will sort bubbling etc for you no problem. Hope you find somebody tho good luck ðŸ‘
  5. JC could easily move to another chanel and start a new show and take all the viewers, he's a love or hate guy but there's no denying he IS Top Gear. Could lose Hammond or may with no real impact but not clarkson. BBC's loss really
  6. Depends how much work you need doing but I wouldn't pay that personally, I have a powder coater who starts from £1 per inch for flat colours upto £2 for Metallica and pearls etc and this includes fixing light curb rash, anything deep tho and you will need to pay more obviously.
  7. Love the underside, u must take pride in that.. That's a joke, I read the thread lol 😉
  8. I had to put 2 litres in today, been a little slack with my checks. She still purrs like a kitten tho so touch wood no damage done. It is by far the worst dipstck Iv ever seen tho.

  14. Just wondering if you managed to source some at a decent price and what you thought of the quality etc.
  15. I know how you feel pal. Just fit a stereo this week and wasted 2 evenings in the dark trying to sort my controls when it turned out incartec had sent me a dodgy controls box. I wasn't happy.
  16. Only picture I have that may assist, maybe somebody could point it out on this pic for you. Hope it helps.

  18. Great build. Can't say anything that hasn't been said already. Beautiful car ðŸ‘
  19. Looks great, I'm after a new knob too but ideally heavier than that. I'll message him thanks. ðŸ‘
  20. No guide im aware of just really take your time to get that gloss finish. Build up coats of lacquer gradually stepping up sand paper grade between coats to eventually be around 1000 wet. Then cutting compound, then t-cut black, then an ultra deep shine polish with plenty of elbow grease. I'm no expert tho. Oh and make sure u get rid of that texture first, get rid of as much as you can with papers then use a high build primer or "filler primer" but I'm no expert lol so take with a pinch of salt. Thanks for the compliment too, I'm really happy how it turned out. 😎
