So I'm back with an update. But sadly no pics 😔 I use the forum from my iPhone and the tap talk app won't let me upload for some reason... Il add pics when I can.

Panic over cheers guys. Yea I'm in Bramley leeds but Sussed it now thanks. Incartec had sent me a dodgy box, managed to get hold of a patch lead locally and all works now. No need for boosters or extra ground wire or the rca bypass. Happy days finally. Took way longer than should have and I'm not happy with the nest of cables squeezed in but needs must eh.

Really grasping at straws now but is there a fuse that may have gone that could be causing this?

Well I'm stumped then..... 😔 been pissing about for ages now, all fine apart from controlls. If anybody has any ideas I'm all ears

Sorry to make a new topic for this as I know it's been discussed a lot. I thought I'd have a better chance of sussing this out if I started a thread. I think either I'm missing something obvious or something is faulty. Incartec sent me the 29-025 patch lead (the one you wire yourself) for my pioneer sph da120. So I've wired it the same as the 29-020 which from looking through the forums I think is the right one. But I have no controls. Everything else works great but no controls. The jack end is plugged in to the w/r slot on the head unit, is this right?

So frustrated!!, all in and working apart from the steering controls. Incartec sent me a universal patch lead to wire myself, I wired as instructed and plugged the jack into the w/r socket on the head unit but no response at all. Any ideas please?

Buying the unit today to probably tackle on Tuesday, what have people done regarding the microphone? Is it possible to tap into the factory one or best to just use the one that comes with the unit? If the latter, what is a good discreet mounting location?

Iv decided to go piano black but got sidetracked by some carbon vinyl 😎 Everton knows carbon wrap is good for 1-2bhp so wrapped the chrome shifter ring Sadly that's all for now. Hope to have her together by the weekend.

Great cars. I've come from a mk2 mx5 1.8 to the Z. I bought it to turn into a track car with plans of a supercharger Etc and for circa £3k you can have a great race car. I bottled it half way and decided I wanted a gt car instead so there went my career as a racer lol. I'm sure you'll both have great fun driving it and tinkering. ðŸ‘

Lol all cool but I couldn't go that far "out there" I had thought of doing a bright colour like ST orange but I don't think I could go for a design as such

So Iv got the car in bits ready for a piano black finish. Hope it looks as good as I'm picturing. So tempting to go for carbon but there's a lot of that about and I want to be different. I did my mx5 dash in black too so wouldn't mind a change if anyone has a good idea.

Where are u based? I have a weihrauch hw50s .177 break barrel rifle I don't need but I won't post. Very good rifle, very straight, pellet on pellet at 30 yards is easily achievable, Iv shimmed the barrel to quieten the "twang", Got a great illuminated scope on it too. I'm in leeds, pm if interested but again, Collection only ðŸ‘

IMO the biggest draw of this car is the low miles, but personally I don't think people worry too much about mileage anymore, anything under 100k is "low mileage" so as much as I'd say it's "worth" the asking price, unless you get someone specifically put off by higher milers, everyone would choose to pay £2k less for a similar car with higher miles. But that's just my view and I'm sure it will sell in time but be prepared to hang on till summer. Good luck with the sale tho ðŸ‘
