As long as you are realistic about what you want from a car, and take what the z truly offers into account. It really is a cracking car for the money. Great v6 with bags of torque. Looks that haven't rly aged. Yea it squeaks a bit but it's a nissan, you can't have everything Get one and enjoy it ðŸ‘

Hi, I'm trying to buy some second hand alloys and I've found some at a decent price with almost new tyres but I'm not keen on the size. Is a 35 profile going to cause tc issues? Or look overly "archy" lol?

That's down to misuse/neglect not age. If u think the clutch is going, get a new clutch, full service and alignment for the £1k you save yourself. +1 for wanting to see the ad lol. I saw an 06 gt in lovely condition today for a fiver short of £9k and I thought that was overpriced!!

Daft question time. Should the boot struts open the boot unassisted at the press of the boot button? My struts hold the boot 95% of the time so I'm not bothered for replacing them really unless it's a noticeable improvement I.e the boot pops up on its own. Lol thanks guys

Thanks for the heads up but il take my chances for now, it's just a stop gap before I go back to Greenlight. They weren't happy with the power hike from the mx5 to the 350z so one of the operators recomended sky for a year. Sky are over £100 cheaper than flux who were pretty cheap themselves..

I can't honestly remember how many coats it got but yes there was a lot of prep and I really took my time with very light coats etc, the parts were off my car 8 days, it's not perfect by any means but you've got to look very closely to spot any flaws. It's not my first rodeo tho I'v had experience with spray cans before so fancy my chances of a decent finish on most projects, don't think I'd tackle a body panel tho. And thanks for all the comments 👠glad everyone seems to like it. I think it's really made the inside like a new car.

Yes, the same stuff halfords sell, or that you would use for the outside of a car. I'm sure somebody will come along and say Iv used the wrong stuff lol and It won't last but so far so good. ðŸ‘

Wanted or swap for slash cut titanium. I'm after a pair of the rolled chrome tips. I know it's a long shot but I'm not a slash cut type of guy and these came on the car when I bought. If somebody offers a swap I will offer cash their way as the left hand tip has suffered at the hands of a previous owner who has polished some of the blueing off by the looks of things.

A mate has seen some Rotas for me, 10j 20et rears. 9j 20et fronts. A. How well would these fit/clear Brembos (I'm sure this wouldn't be a prob but best check eh) B. What would this do for the ride, feel & handling. C. Tyre sizes. I assume 265-275 45 rears and 245-255 45 fronts? Edit: they're 18's

Do you do a colour close to the Brembos?

Such a shame to have this noise, only owned the car 5 weeks but this is the only thing I don't like about the car. I have the invidia genesis and the car sounds beautiful, then every now and again at 1800rpm it sounds like it's eating itself. A bit embarrassing really when you have somebody in the car with you. Would love to hear if anybody has managed to quieten it without replacement as my clutch is fine.
