    Japspeed K4?!

Snjur from Crotia has one fitted, its in his project thread: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/94040-350z-croatia/ Looking at the K4 ebay listing, its showing 39 sold so I would have thought there must be more members with the system fitted?
  2. Thanks Kyle I figured as much! I dont think they can beat £90.13 shipped for a new motor, even paying tax and duty that is still coming out cheaper than a used one from eBay (edit) Just bought it, £113.36 GBP all in with import charges. For anyone interested: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Power-Window-Motor-Passenger-Side-Right-RH-for-Infiniti-G35-Coupe-Nissan-350Z-/310953184331?hash=item4866410c4b 155 sold and counting!
  3. Random question, sorry if this is obvious: If i was to purchase a replacement Window motor from America for my drivers door, am I right in thinking I need to order the American RH (Passenger) motor to fit my UK RH (Drivers) door? Or do I need the American LH (Drivers) motor for my UK RH (Drivers) door? Cheers.
  4. Sorry i meant there was nothing that had rolled/been stored under the seats that would have knocked the connectors
  5. Same issue with me. Absolutely nothing changed (I hadnt even adjusted the seats) and underneath of both were clear. I simply got the car out of the garage and it started blinking, when i put it in the garage it was fine. The youtube video worked for me and it hasnt come back on now almost a week later.
  6. Same issue here mate. Mine goes up and down via the switch without issue but the auto-pinch on door open doesn't work, it drops the window 1/3 down and it just stays there. If you try to raise it, it will re-drop to the same position. I have to over-write this 1/3 down position by holding the switch in the UP position until I hear a click. Like I said, doing the Nissan method with me inside with the door shut (be careful closing the door with glass fully raised) did the trick, but it only lasted 3 days before it stopped again.
  7. I printed this out and followed it to the letter, it worked for 3 days for me then went back to being broken lol
  8. I cant say I've encountered any issues with Windows updates both at home, or at work over the past 4yrs while being involved with the month to month patch cycle. Sure there has been instances where a Windows Update has caused problems with other 3rd party software (McAfee DLP for example) but thats down to McAfee, not Windows. Id imagine most "problems" are caused by other out-of-date systems/software/drivers rather than the Windows updates themselves. Most of our clients are currently migrating from WinXP to Win8.1 (skipping Win7) in order to qualify for the free Win10 upgrade later on.
  9. Great topic blaqkaudio its given me some ideas. £15 ERP gear stick ordered because of you
  10. Could have got a 370z for £750 more too http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201504132560103/sort/default/usedcars/page/1/quicksearch/true/make/nissan/model/370_z/radius/1500/onesearchad/used%2Cnearlynew%2Cnew/price-from/500/postcode/ng116jw/channel/cars?logcode=p
  11. ConnorW06, you should post this in the pinned Junction17 topic at the top of this forum too: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/95950-junction-17-cars-peterborough-a-review-the-good-the-bad-and-the-ugly/ Keep all the feedback centralised.
  12. Clean it james, dont replace it. You want something like this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/270929878009?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT (you wont use it all in 1 wash, dont worry)
  13. I never debated not getting the major service done I just said I'm in 2 minds about having it done at a specialist or not. I sat for 40mins on the M1 stationary last time thinking I was being smart and cutting out driving though Leicester so its not always the best way
  14. I'm in a similar situation Jamess115. The cars on 33k now and looking through the history has never really had a major service from what I can tell and will be due a service/MOT in Sept. My nearest specialist/trader is also CougarStore but god damn, I proper hate the journey into Leicester! It's like they deliberatey designed it to be as awkward as possible. I asked Tarmac (whos in Derby) If he had a workshop but unfortunately not. So I'm still deciding also.
  15. Always put as much back to standard as possible. Modified cars only appeal to a narrow subset of people so you broaden the market the car will appeal to and therefore increase the chance of a sale. If you can afford to sit around for months waiting for a buyer for a modified car then by all means try it, but I certainly wouldnt recommend it.
  16. Hi guys sorry to hijack this. My symptoms for my drivers window is that it still functions (raises and lowers via the switch) but the auto pinch feature when you open and close the door doesnt. The window instead of dropping 1cm drops about 1/3 of the way down instead and stays there. I can force this by holding the up switch for about 30sec and it stops at the top eventually. Is this also the motor responsible?
  17. If headlight washers are present then they must function to pass an MOT. If there are no headlight washers present to be tested, they cannot fail. They dont record which cars should/shouldnt have them
  18. Right.... so we have to rely on the incompetence of both the DVLA and RoyalMail to hope we are notified... Am i the only one who thinks this is insane!? Why cant Nissan just publish a ****ing list of whats affected and we can check for ourselves?
  19. You're looking at about £1k each for the seat alone if you shop around, otherwise about £800 used off ebay (they look like "Recaro Sportster CS"). http://www.demon-twe...ortster-cs-seat You would then also have to get rails and mounts fabricated etc. Either way, it wont be cheap!
  20. Is there some kind of online lookup we can check to see if we are affected or not? Just for peace of mind really.
  21. I had a HEL line fail on my last car, I was breaking to slow down from a NSL to a 30mph village and it failed after circa 300 miles of being fitted. The hose popped off the nozel which was still fastened to the calliper and emptied all my new Motul RBF600 inside the wheel. HEL just asked to see a photo then sent me a replacement set with a cap.... This was summer last year.
  22. I dont really care much for UKIP as a party but I think its pretty damning when they are our 3rd largest based on votes (circa 3.8million at the time of writing this) yet the SNP has only 1.4million (5th biggest party) yet has 56x the amount of seats!? The proportions of representation to votes just doesnt add up regardless of what spin you put on it.
  23. If you are happy with the car just buy it and worry about those things later, you have until Jan 2016 to enjoy the car. I would never fix something just becaue 1 MOT says so, they may just be trying to trick people into spending money afterall
  24. I've used ST Autobodies in Long Eaton before, Scott is your typical one man operation on an industrial estate unit but hes very genuine and Id happily use him again if the need arises. www.st-autobodies.co.uk/contact-us/ No idea on a price for a 350z though, just pop around with the car and ask him to come out and have a look.
  25. With petrol prices at an all time low if you cant afford to run the 350z as a daily now you never will. Make the most of it!
