  1. So 3 highly modified cars vs 1 stock Nismo car... Why even bother?
  2. It would be a nice feature to have but I haven't seen any way of doing it currently here.
  3. Taff I would assume as you were buying a 4yr old, low mileage car not long out of its warranty period that minimised your exposure/risk to their "aftersales" treatment which is where the majority of the issues are raised.
  4. Hodaka persist with them its worth it. ChrisKnott were the cheapest for me and i tried: - AdrianFlux - Brentacre - Greenlight - Sky - Prestige - Directline and the usual GoCompare lot. Maybe the underwriter didnt get back to them in time before close of business, drop them another call tomorrow.
  5. Unless I'm mistaken the aluminium replacement needs to attach to the same points as the plastic one. So if your plastic one has broken free the problem Is where it attaches to surely?
  6. Cheers Jetpilot I'm surprised by that! Does that still apply to a GT spec with all the electric motors too?
  7. This would be my thought process too. Removing the wheel is free and the seats while potentially pricey to replace depending on what you chose do not compromise the car like other savings do (increased noise, vibrations etc), but would free up a ton of weight.
  8. I say Yes. It seems silly we can bomb them in Iraq/Afghan but not Syria, they don't stick to 1 countries borders so neither should we when dealing with them.
  9. Yeah that sounds like the banana arms to me, mine was the same. You can only change the bushes on 1 side of the arm, the other side cannot be replaced its fixed in. So you'd need to remove yours from the car really and have a look but id recommend just swapping them, its probably a false economy repairing yours.
  10. ... But is it 2x as good to match its 2x the tax? (lol just joking around if people haven't noticed!)
  11. Yeah congrats on the HR purchase. Sleep easy knowing you are bringing the country out of deficit by paying twice as much to the government
  12. You mean it wasnt FRP, whos to say what they used to replace it with. Cant imagine genuine Nismo items have been used considering they were never sold here right?
  13. Thats my kind of LEGO Some serious money being spent! I wish I had that kind of money available for mods
  14. Oh probably i don't know, but i said main suppliers as all the yanks seem to fit HKS, and ARK is the cheapest over here.
  15. ARK and HKS are the 2 main suppliers of that style exhaust, you will be paying £1000+ with ARK being the cheaper of the 2. Or you can buy that design off eBay as replicas start around £400 (Japspeed)
  16. Sooooo how do we go about getting the advert updated so we arent implicated in what is essentially a con attempt by the seller? Thats pretty damning. Not to mention this nugget: Cringe!!
  17. FYI: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/103285-adrian-torqen-banned-for-1-month/
  18. They are resonator chambers designed to try and elimate exhaust drone, certain "true dual" designs have them.
  19. Nice i didn't realize the website was live.... or that he was banned and unable to post it himself. Probably explains things
  20. Black Friday sales, everyone loves a bargain right? Well apparently not when it comes to car related things. Other than Demon Tweeks offering a discount: http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/black-friday-offers/performance-black-friday-offers Is there anything else out there?
  21. Thats steep money for what is essentially a body-kitted automatic import! The fact its not a manual would make me doubt that there are any other Nismo goodies lurking beneath.
  22. How longs a piece of string Mikey? My gearbox has been crunching 1st>2nd since I picked it up over a year ago, it hasn't developed any further, I just adapt my driving style to suit (while shifting leave it a second in neutral to let the revs drop before engaging 2nd for example / or shift 1st>3rd to avoid). Just carry on until something breaks, Its a common issue.
  23. I was expecting footage of it going sideways, being ragged around etc. Overall id say that paints your dealership in a good light that they can be trusted with your car (at least that tech anyway)
  24. Have you tried changing the oil and adding some molyslip to your current box? For the cost involved id always try this first.
  25. I'm sure Mitz@CS will probably testify that I look the youngest 350z owner, however my age doesn't match
