Shims

Had same issue mine squealed like a pig so thought it was pads ordered Hawks as was told less dust hence noise which they are brilliant and quiet But when removed originals they had no anti squeal shims so who knows could have been reason why horrible noise usually in slow moving traffic The Hawks have rubber backing so no need for them Like GreenLandy mentioned if no squeal then no worries mine ran perfect for six months into owning car and who knows how long before that with previous owner 😡 See how it goes without for now, and can always buy them later from Clarks
5. +1 I cannot fault the DBA T2 discs plus Hawk Ceramic pads from Clark Motorsport
6. Coupe for me love the shape but I do like roadster in that blue colour sorry don't know the proper colour Besides I live in Essex so weather rubbish and nuttas with Stanley knifes love a good roof slashing so that's my reason for coupe 😀 One day I would like to purchase one of the below
7. Mine was rumbling on small bumps and rough road but wasn't my shock either I was puzzled as drop links and arbs replaced as wanted a change but still had the noise. I though it made a hollow noise like a spring moving Lucky for me I was having buddy club exhaust fitted and when up on ramps my old system was very close to diff and other parts of the car, exhaust hangers were shot and I think it dropped 5-10mm so causing me these noises as exhaust wasn't sitting where it was supposed to sit Installed new exhaust and my noise of rumbling had cured Good luck with sourcing your noise if your ocd like me it gets on your nerves lol
8. Never owned a ford But the RS is the Only new Ford I would buy and would like in Green or White please
9. Had to look few times must be colour blind 😢 back end another colour I hope that's what it is, other wise better take someone with me on my next car purchase lol
10. Imagine that on the road 😳 Sounds awesome
11. I had F1's put on all comers last year done about 8-9k rears are going to need replacing soon so not to bad wear I suppose, probably less than I like but first year of owing the car so maybe I was a bit throttle happy then and totally my own fault I have had no issues a great all rounder for me, but new boots will be MPSS as feedback on here is very positive gotta try them 😀
12. Assume that's the standard air conditioning 😀
13. Gutting mate, I've been lucky with our work ones though Fingers crossed at all times 😀
14.
Fodder: But you kept the shares, at which point you moved from share save in to being a plain share holder, and unfortunately got burnt. I intend on selling most of mine when it matures to minimise that risk... Just over 3 years to go! (5 yr scheme) I also do one where it comes out before tax, more risk, but an effective 40% discount so I'm willing to take the risk.
that's what I done first year done a 3yr scheme and year after done a 5yr scheme then matured and sold at very high share price may have been a fluke but still doing them and making more money than leaving in saving account so happy as Larry this end
15. funny thing is I got the setting from asking you originally and cannot for the life of me remember, but still alive so could have been on the setting mentioned just now Sounds reasonable, medium all round is always the best starting place, but you'll definitely want to change round once you're used to it. yeah I'm used to that setting now so may have a play
16. Whatever Ekona originally advised me when I got mine works a treat
17. funny thing is I got the setting from asking you originally and cannot for the life of me remember, but still alive so could have been on the setting mentioned just now 😛
18. I was lucky the shares I got were at £6 each and when time was due for payout they were £21 But have also had some at just over £8 so you win some large margin but then again can make some low profit, only thing is the money you invest initially is guaranteed back to you with a bit of interest so like saving and bonus if shares rocket and make a decent profit True though if company does get sold you do tend to get stitched up
19. Went Eibach Front & Rear with Whitelines all round, massive improvement to car and only have on medium setting I think lol But love the change it gave to the car
