  1. DBS and New Vanquish are stunning.
  2. Never knew the Z's historical blood line had some seriously good looking cars, those 240 and 260Z looks stunning
  3. Half a Ton of fun and Smiles. Great Choice of car.
  4. Why do they put the weight in there in the first place?? Surely you would want to reduce the weight of opening the boot???!! Or am I missing something fundemental here?!
  5. Only time it doesn't drone is at 0rpm Think I will give that a miss then. Thanks for the heads up. I like a loud deep sound but not at motorway speeds. Would drive me nuts!
  6. Like the idea of the buddy club, but worried about the drone. In 6th between 60 - 80 does it drone? Is the drone only between certain rpm?
  7. Having just got married 3 weeks ago I know exactly how you feel. The planning went on for over a year and the day went super fast and we didnt even get to notice half of the stuff we planned. But the guests had a great time and so did we. Best advice I can give, book a nice honeymoon early on, and go on it if possible straight after the wedding, that way you have a holiday to look forward to when the planning gets you down. Worked well for us. Be firm with others, its your day and nicely listen to peoples ideas and suggestions, then do what the two of you want to do. And last tip, negociate with all the suppliers, seriously I didnt pay full price for anything. The margins they all make on wedding stuff is high so they can always negociate down. Good luck and all the best - remember it will be a great day.
  8. After one of these . . . . D1 Spec Throttle Controller . . . .Anyone got one they want to get rid of?
  9. 3 days, part I ordered was in stock.
  10. Hi ZZZebady, I got mine from Mad motors. They were a good company from my experience. Liked there customer service, got it all sent and delivered as promised and they were helpful with any questions. Dont get me wrong the diffuser only comes as a Glassfibre carcus, there is still alot of prep work and fitting required to make it look good. If you need any questions answered let me know, happy to help.
  11. Can't wait to see the pictures of these fitted . . . .
  12. Any final review after you had your up rev?
  13. Thanks for all the positive responses. It took the body shop a lot of hours to get it looking just the way I wanted, so cost quite a bit, but as with most things in life - you get what you pay for. Like I said before big thanks to Keyser for his advice. And thanks to all of you others who's cars have inspired me at meets like Wales etc.
  14. Well if you are offering to buy me one who am I to say no . . . lol . . . I may get one, or get rid of it completetly and just put a DAB internally. Looks even cleaner then.
  15. Stubby Stubby stubby. Everyone always says that. lol. Have to be honest I dont mind the standard aeriel. Although I feel peer pressure may get the better of me!!!!!!
  16. Something I have been wanting to do since buying the Z. Really loved this Esprit rear Diffuser since seeing it. Just got it back from the body shop and really happy with it. Got some great advice from Keyser on fitting it (what a great guy). So here is the end result, personally I think it looks fantastic, been blended in so it looks like one piece. Towing hole put on and parking sensors too. . .
  17. Great cars, they honestly are, so long as maintained and looked after. They feel faster than the Z, (but they are not) however the handling is so-so. That is a GTV, the brera's are very nice too. Get one some day. I hope to get an 8C one day!!
  18. Yes it was well kept and cheished . . . I have not found a Z with the same kind of noise as the Alfa, after my wedding I may invest into more noise, but realistically I think I would have to get a V8 to better the Alfa Sound . . . (Hope to be proven wrong)
  19. So cool. Carbon weave is really well done on those seats. Simply stunning. I would take all padding off the put blocks of padding on like the Lamborghini sesto elemento.
  20. I had the 3.0 V6 GTV for a very enjoyable 4 years. Yes things went wrong, but mostly wear and tear. Main thing with Alfa's to look out for- Cambelt change £400 - £800 Spark plugs changed £150 Oil service done regularly Subframe rust Oil cooler pipes corroding £500 Cracks in exhaust manifold Flat spots on acceleration - MAF They are great cars so long as maintained well. Yes there will be some rubbish ones out there but that is like any brand. Great car and I miss my GTV V6 noise, it was epic.
  21. . . . . their pipes can be full of all kinds of gunk!!! Lol
