  1. Oh No. Keep Wales, it is great fun. Although totally agree, people could be getting bored if they have done it alot. Besides nothing stopping mini events or individuals to go up and have a blast in Wales, thats what I do with a few other friends once or twice a year. Either way good luck, you will struggle to please everyone which ever way you go. . . .
  2. Can you take a few pictures or the rear bumper and diffuser please? Am interested . . .
  3. Now I feel like a bit of a plonker! Whoops!
  4. I needs some help, really want this rear diffuser on the car. There are two places on ebay selling them, one says it has a Green Flexible coat on it. But its £259, compared to the other one at £185 Which one should I go for, would rather get a better quality product, but I dont actually know if there is a difference! Any help?? Green coat - £259 - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/161098963068?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649#ht_1899wt_1190 Or £185 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/251470848327?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649#ht_2583wt_1034
  5. Excellent Pictures. Nice to reflect on a great day out.
  6. You change your oil every 500 miles! Fairplay that is OCD at its best. Just joking.
  7. Thanks for reply, so is the Mobil 1 not recommend by you guys? Looks like Fuchs titan race 5w30 it is then. Topics like this just run and run, but it's all good as it's what forums are for Below is a cut 'n paste from another forum... And yes, Mobil 1 is currently 20% off at Halfords but still works out cheaper if you use their trade card instead. Hi Ian To be honest, while it's under warranty, there isn't really anything better than the Mobil 1 0w-40. http://www.opieoils....e-porsche-a4... When it's out of warranty, one of the ester based 5w-40 synthetics will be a better option, but for now the Mobil is as good as anything (although the Fuchs GT1 is just as good an oil and cheaper at the moment). Regards Tim OPIE OILS From all the evidence on here and elsewhere, Opie are a real authority on oils. If they recommend Mobil 1, then I think it's fair to say there's nothing much wrong with it. I'd also assume Porsche know enough about their own cars not to recommend an oil that will damage the engines. They'd have to be really dumber than dumb to do that. Had a feeling this would be one of those subjects like "Which Tyres to buy?" Probably go with the Fuchs, for probably nothing more than psychological sanity as no one seems to have anything bad to say on it! So far anyway!
  8. Thanks for reply, so is the Mobil 1 not recommend by you guys? Looks like Fuchs titan race 5w30 it is then.
  9. Am looking for oil, was going with Mobil 1 5W30 but seems to be mixed reviews about it. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/76224-anyone-here-used-mobil-1-esp-5w-30-fully-synthetic/page__hl__mobil__st__20 I know its a mine field with things like oil. No issue with spending money for good stuff (i thought mobile 1 Would be good) Fuchs seems to be recommended!! I am rather confused. What should I get!!!!!?????
  10. That's a nice piece of kit. Wish I could justify it. Sure it will sell to a dedicated z Owner soon.
  11. Thanks for replies guys, what oil should I use for my spirited driving style, 5W30 seems the way, but which brand??
  12. That sounds like the best advice for sure!
  13. I am making the assumption that H------L on the dipstick is a 1 litre difference?! Am I wrong?
  14. Could not agree more. Do people think I am better off just changing the oil and filter for better quality oil and 5W30?
  15. Hi All 4 months in and 5,000 miles (including Wales) engine needs an oil top up, about 1/3 litre, service record shows oil change in Feb, where Pro S400 5W40 oil was used. Seen on here most say to use 5W30, So my question is what oil should I top up with? 5W40 or 5W30? or something else? I have no idea about oils, all I know is I love Driving the Z
  16. Expect Graham is a bit miffed he does not have that one in his sat-nav "Left at the next T junction, then round the roundabout, follow the road for 536.7 miles and park up there on the left" And all had to be done in Reverse!
  17. I forgot this one, Someone who was praying for the Rain to Stop on Sunday morning!
  18. Thanks for the video, great to watch, and I feature in it too, very last car to go past at the end of video, I am chuft. :teeth: :teeth:

  21. Graham, Colin, Darren, Will and everyone else, thank you for a great time. First outing with the Z Boys & Gals, have to say a very friendly and organised bunch of like minded people. Will definitely be coming back to Wales and hopefully some other events too. Massive thanks to anyone who was involved in the organisation of the days, you are the people who make the event happen. Found out that the Z is a great car to drive, and can be really pushed, even in the pouring rain! Nice to meet you all and see you soon. Extra thanks to Graham for organising it all.
