  1. You cannot put the private plate on until the documents come through (usually around 2weeks). You drive as normal on your original plates. Once your new private reg documents come through, you have about 2 weeks to put the new plates on. So basically for 2 weeks you could have either your old or new plates on. Hope that helps. If not sure ring dvla, they are very helpful.
  2. I have just bought he is carbon wrap off eBay. Going to give my b pillars ago first. Then will decide whether to go for the roof or not. Will let you know how the he is wrap is. Heard its very good, just like 3M.
  3. I have the scorpion on mine, and its an okay sound, but in my opinion not loud enough. I like my car to sound like a 3.5 V6. Which the scorpion doesn't do justice to IMO. At idle it sounds like a ford focus! Under acceleration a lot better. As you said YouTube doesn't give a good idea how these sound, I have decided to go to some meets before changing.
  4. I have been researching this over the weekend too. Are you thinking of trying it yourself? From what I have seen its not too bad to do so long as you take your time.
  5. Guys what's the difference between 2D, 3D & 4D wrap?? Also what is the best place to buy this from?
  6. Kosmik, thanks that's a perfect picture so I know where the poppers are. Excellent. Will get some wrap and give it a go. Did you have any any issues?
  7. Put me down on the waiting list please: Only able to make the daytime so dont need a bunk. Sunday would be best for me.
  8. Thanks Grundy. Seems like its easy to snap them! Hmmmm
  9. Hi All I have searched quite a bit but cannot seem to find a guide or tips on wrapping the B-pillars with carbon like in the picture. Really like it but how easy is it to take the parts off? Thanks for all your help
  10. Hi, I haven't (yet) made any with a red 'Z', but I have with orange, blue and yellow. Yours would be the same but with a, erm, red 'Z'! There are a number of pics throughout this thread of my dividers with the coloured Z, but I'd happily send you a pic of your red zed version before asking for any payment if you'd like one. I think it would look great in a red car Excellent, yes please, can you make me one with a Red "Z" please? Mine will be "one of a kind".
  11. Can I just come for the driving part of the day on Saturday or Sunday? Either one. I will not be able to stay unfortunately but would really like to come out with you all for a good blast and socialise during the day?
  12. Hi Can I get one please? Have you done any with a Red "Z" ? Any pics?
  13. Thanks for the replies. Between 2700 and 3500, hmmm just like you said that is motorway cruising speed. The drone at any other time I am not fussed about. I am not planning Berks or Decat as I cant be bothered with the MOT issues. Anyone with a Non-resonated cobra system is the sound a deep burble? Better still anyone in the Gloucestershire area with either the cobra exhausts? Youtube really does not do justice to picking between the two. Thanks folks
  14. I am in two minds! Like a loud deep sound from my exhaust, not raspy. Have an opportunity to sell my 6 month old scorpion exhaust. (Came with car when I bought) Would like a nice burble at idle and a deep roar through rest of revs. People seem to say you get drone on the non resonated cobra, can someone tell me between what rpm does the drone occur please? Also open to other suggestions. Thanks
  15. Hi All Where can you get that lovely rear valence as in the picture?? Anyone know where I can source it from or a name? Thanks Bhav
  16. In search of more noise for the Z !!!!!!

    1. Nso93

      Need a Tomei titanium exhaust

  17. £3600, that is ridiculous! Good luck with finding a non rip off stealer dealer. Sure you can get it done cheaper than that.
  18. Hi Rob, What kind of setup have you got? Any video clips of it?
  19. Thanks GT Driver Always liked the GT Blacklines, I was considering the V6 GT or Brera, but decided Z was something different. So far very happy with the Z, handles superbly, but I do miss the Alfa for sure.
  20. Really nice car. Credit due for doing it all yourself. Will like to know how the car rides on the Eibachs?
