Cheers guys. I will give that company a try. Ive seen companies advertised that will reset the module for cheap, which is great, but ideally it would be nice to find a company who would be able to do the whole lot, and check first what definitely needs replacing and what needs resetting. I took it to my local nissan main dealer and they charged me close to £500 just to check the seat airbag and curtain airbag and expose the module, which was in the centre console i believe. They then wanted another £3600 minium if all went well. Im sure this cost can be dramatically reduced. I just need to find a company that can do the whole lot. When they plugged it into their diagnostic it didnt even pick up any faults, so im wondering whether they simply just want to replace everything even if it doesnt need replacing.

Ive tried the ignition thing and it doesnt work unfortunately. Im not sure whether this method works if an airbag has been deployed in the past, because my light stays on, it does not flash,and go off again. I will however try it again, its worth another go. I have had two new airbags fitted, its just a case of whats next to do. Im not sure whether if the airbag light is on, means that all the airbags are unoperational? If the airbags would still deploy in the event of an acident as it is right now, it would just be a case of getting the light turned off by an auto electrician maybe? Didnt know if anyone knew of someone who is very clued up in this field and could sort out all my problems. Will the airbags work it the light is on? Thank you all for your replies.

Hello everyone. Im in a bit of a tricky situation. I have a 2008 350z. I brought it when it was 8 months old as a cat d damaged car. I replaced the passengers door, rear nearside quarter panel and replace a passenger seat side airbag and passenger side curtain airbag. Basically my problem now is getting the airbag light off. I took my car to the local nissan garage to get the light turned off and to my horror they said i would need a new airbag module and sensors totalling £3200 inc labour. I simply can not afford this and was just wondering whether anyone out there has any ideas on where i can get the airbag light turned off, but at the same time making sure the car is safe. I have heard you can get your modules reset, but i would like a company to be able to do the whole lot. Im based in suffolk, but im willing to travel in order to get this problem sorted. So if anyone can recommend a good company/ auto electrician it would be very helpful. Regards Michael

Thank you all very much for taking the time to reply to my post. I have gained some very useful information and i think i know what the problem is. So im going to take it back to the garage where it was serviced and explain the possible problem to him. Hopefully he will be able to solve it. If not i will take it where you guys have reccomended. But im pretty sure it is the EVT control. I will keep you posted on the progress. Thank you all once again.

Thank you all for replying. I wish I was more mechnanically minded so I could help you guys more. Being a main dealer who sell 350s and 370s I assumed they would put the right oil in. I did at the same time have a battery problem which could have been a problem. This was 2 years ago now. This recent service was done two weeks ago by an independent garage who works on performance cars he's very clued up and researches everything online too. It just seems consistent with oil changes. I must admit I don't always put performance fuel in but this problem seems to just appear after services. It's still done low miles 16k. I live in the Suffolk area, but I'm willing to travel alittle way if anyone's able to help or could recommend somewhere to take it which isn't £100 an hour. Cheers guys.

Hello everyone. I have a 58 plate 350z which has just covered 16k miles. I had a main nissan dealer service it at 9k miles, i can't remember what was included in that service, but definitelty new oil and filter etc.. Anyway, after this service my car just jumped coninueously while travelling at low-ish speeds in built up areas. For example doing 30mph in 4th gear would feel like someone was bumping you from behind, also pulling away from junctions in 2nd gear if you had'nt fully stopped. My car was fine before this. I took it back to the garage and they did'nt have a clue and fitted a new clutch plate and other bits under warranty. Abit excessive as it had only done 9k miles. It didnt really cure it. After a while it started to calm down and stopped doing it. I have just had an oil and oil filter change again and its started all over again. Its very very frustrating and just takes all enjoyment out of driving the car. So if anyone has any ideas or has had a similiar problem that could help me, it would be much appreciated. Hi everyone. Im looking for an induction kit for my Zed. Just wondered if anyone could suggust a good one to get? as im not that clued up on filters. I have a 58 plate 350z and would ideally like one that is reasonably easy to fit and reasonably priced. Which sounds awesome, adds bhp, and improves throttle response. Can't wait to get it back. I haven't even driven it yet, so i don't know anything about the performance or handling. Il keep an eye out for you, when i get it back and im about ipswich.

Hello all. My car has had a knock and now needs these parts. Passenger side rear hub carrier/shock absorber/top wishbone and tie rods. I also need a drive shaft for that corner and a rear rays forged alloy 18x8 1/2 et33. Any help would be much appreicated, Thankyou.
