  1. Would you buy this - CAT B because of Blood! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/151761601264?ru=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fsch%2Fi.html%3F_from%3DR40%26_sacat%3D0%26_nkw%3D151761601264%26_rdc%3D1
  2. I like it, and those side skirts too.
  3. Nice one Straun. Looks great. So you have a V6 and now added a V8 to the family, You know what is next. V6, V8, V?? . . . . .
  4. Sure do. . . http://incartec.co.uk/nissan/1929/1036/2069/147/Browser.aspx Good service from incartec.
  5. All done. I found that the Red and Yellow had been cut and switched previously, was easy to rectify as was done with Male / Female connector. Simple resolution. Thanks for everyones help, particularly Buster. Finished & Installed. DAB, Non Skipping CD, USB and cool light colours!
  6. Now that's called a good finish. Like a smoked mirror. Well done.
  7. It was simple to use which I like, I would not trust myself with a DA polisher! You are a nice neighbour doing there car Colin. Hope the AMG is going well Not sure how long it will last, but will wax it over and see what happens. As they say, time will tell! I agree with this, didnt seem to cover much up in terms of swirls I found too, just seems to give it a more glossy/mirror finish. Maybe I didnt apply it too well. With the stone chip problem and filling it in white, I had this issue previously with waxes, I just used an old toothbrush to gently brush the wax from the stone chip, generally worked quite well. Could be worth a try. . . .
  8. Was not convinced it made any real difference to the naked eye, but when I looked at before and after pictures there sure is a difference. These pictures are with no waxes applied just the PoorBoys Black Hole, rubbish iphone pics but does show the difference. Before - Only Washed After - Poorboys Black Hole applied by hand only, (no wax on it). Quite impressed with the result.
  9. I have the scorpion back box simple answer. It's quiet. It makes no noise in tunnels. I don't even bother lowering windows in tunnels like I used to in my Alfa V6.
  10. You may want to speak with squee on here she has the buddy club. I too was planning on getting one and had same reservations about cabin noise and drone. Squee took me for a spin at Wales and yes if you gun it it sings beautifully. But cruising at motorway speeds was more than acceptable as far as I was concerned. Only as hint of drone but not enough to even have to raise your voice. Personally I think it's great.

  12. Just read all 58 pages of this thread! Call me sad I don't care. Very interesting and entertaining. Fairplay Ian and co. You are taking one hell of a project on. Will keep tuning in to Channel "LSZ" Good luck I am sure you will get there soon .. .
  13. Okay need help - All works fine, put it all back together. But I have just gone back to the car and the memory has gone. All the stations/presets etc Done some searching on web, seems there are two lives (Ignition on live and Constant live)! Everything else works fine. Any ideas which wires I need to change?
  14. Went well today, everything works. Had to splice a few cables but that was fine. Only thing I didn't have was an aerial adaptor from DIN to ISO. Will get one in the morning and put all back together. . . .
  15. Got the Bluetooth module as well today. So ready to go! I am pretty sure I will be asking advice during it!!
  16. More than likely Just getting fed up with the skipping and I had a DAB in last car which was rather good. Not to mention the old school look with a tape deck!!
  17. Thanks for advice - When you say "good" what would you deem a "good" earth? Just connected securely to the chassis, I found a nice big bolt just behind the gear shift and never had any issues with alternator whine or hissing Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Will look out for that one.
  18. Thanks for advice - When you say "good" what would you deem a "good" earth?
  19. So its my first time changing a head unit. I enjoy a challenge so thought I would give it a go based on some advice and videos! Fed up of the skipping 6 CD Changer so got a simple DAB JVC unit KW-DB60AT Got all the connections and facsia thanks to Buster for the links Old Bits that came with the unit from the guy I bought it from (Not sure if any of the bits will be useful, no idea what car it came out of) New bits - Loom, Steering Wheel control & Facsia Think thats all I need. Right? Its a Non Bose system so Hopefully its fairly simple! Never taken any trim off before so using this video for reference . . . . Going to do this on Saturday - wish the first timer good luck and any tips you have would be great.
  20. youve never seen a pontiac aztek You are right I hadn't, but i have now and still think this Bently is worst car ever!
  21. Worse car I have ever seen.
  22. Looks in great condition good luck with sale.
  23. Okay I will look into this, thanks for advice, makes sense that needs somekind of protection from the sun. Sunlotion! lol. Do you thinkn some waxes have some form of UV protection? Never really been a engine bay clean kind of guy, although having been to the Wales meet I was inspired, so may get cleaning and detailing!
  24. Had some haze and cloudiness on my headlights, read many posts on here and decided to go with the following: Megartius NXL All Metal Polish £9.99 from Halfrauds, (can get it cheaper online but could not be bothered to wait) Was really simple to do and only took 5 min per lens. Be careful not to get any on the paint work, other than that its a bit of elbow grease and a rag. Very happy with the results. Before and after picture shows the difference really well. Did the same on the MR2 . . .
