    Which parts

They are eibach pros. I've not fitted them yet but I'll have extended bolts and arms at the ready in case I need them
  4. Hey Just a quick post before I go to bed- got my mid silencer out today and it sounds epic. Just how the car should have been stock. Not too loud at all. Has a metallic rasp similar to the e46 m3. I may add berks high flow cats now to increase the volume. I would recommend people do this mid first for the sake of £60 since it might be all your looking for. The mid silencer is not restrictive in the slightest so no power gains. It's purely there to attenuate higher frequency notes by slowing the gas down at its fastest place- closest to the engine. http://s1000.photobucket.com/user/gurjitsidhu/media/A5C00630-0907-4CD4-A375-0A9309AAE641.mp4.html

  8. Hmmm seems interesting. May look Into it
  9. Hmm seems like it's not as easy to get permanently installed though. It's £25 a year which ain't bad
  10. My brother in law has one on his m3 and it sends him a text every time the car moves off the driveway. It also uses gps, radio signals and another type of signal which police can trace directly and that transmits out of any shipping containers. GPS will stop once its in a shipping container. Also it lets you see where its been driven- it maps it so if you give to a service garage you know if they have been excessively driving it. There was an attemped car stealing not too far from me and I just got a bit paranoid.
  11. I'm thinking of getting a tracker fitted and seen this one http://www.trackermonitor.co.uk/insurance-approved-trackers/Tracker-locate Anyone got it? I want to also ask the 350z owners too but I can't send to post in the forum general section. Cheers

Nows the time to get the winter tyres. I got all for corners for £340. It's a bargain in comparison!

  16. Gonna do it and I'll get a video up soon. Getting midsilencers out on 14th April and if I get my hfc I'll get the exhaust place to fit them at the same time
  17. M135i were going for a fantastic price on gateway2lease website. Apparently they sold a shed load! Was around £250 a month. Guys at my work got them on a 4 year contact
  18. Hey mate I also had to decide between the cayman S and the 370z. If you get a cayman after 2009 it will have the engine problem fixed plus a lot of other stuff (gen 2) Therefore I would not consider a car older than 2009. The gen 2 is how the cayman should have been when it first came out. If you get a gen one and the engine breaks it's £17k to fix from Porsche or £10k from an independent. Therefore you will notice that post 2009 models are around 8-10k more in price since the sellers know people will pay 10k more for a 2009 car vs late 2008. Secondly is that there isn't much of a modding scene with Porsches. The owners seem a bit like "keep it as it came" therefore there's no advice here in the uk. Most forums talk about servicing and that's it. There's more to a car than when you next are gonna service it! Lastly was I reckon people at my work place would get really jealous if I turned up in a Porsche even though it would have new. 6 years old. I hate that but it's true. So that's all the reasons why I didn't go for the porsche. But the Porsche is the better drivers car. 370z is a grand tourer. Not a sports car but it's a great car. Keep an eye out for noisy gearboxes and clutches. This is currently on all years. Although I've heard if you've had a 350z you'll be used to the noisy gearbox and clutch. For the money I spent I'm able to make my 370z tactfully modified with a lot more cash left over than I was vs buying a stock 2009 cayman S

    Winter tyres

Just bought the winter tyres. If anyone else is looking for some nows the time to buy and keep in the garage since it's the end of the season so there's plenty of stock. If you wait till middle of summer there will be no stock lol I bought 265/35/19 and 235/40/19. 265 is from tyre leader. Fallen euro winters for £122 a tyre. Very cheap. Other winter tyres are around £200-£300 a tyre. The front I got part worn off eBay- Pirelli with 5mm tread. £50 a wheel. So all in I'm Ready for winter for £340. Not bad at all considering the massive tyres sizes the 370 has!
