  1. i'd imagine a seasoned racing driver would do all he/she could to make the best of an impending accident, just how much control is given in such a circumstance is partly down to luck. Clarity of mind perhaps, probably comes down to experience.
  2. I've watched it 4 times now. My wife is frowning. she's telling me to put head phones on. but I like to share
  3. I could listen to that all day. I bet that sound and speed is so addictive. If I had that car, I would call in sick and tell my wife i'm off to work, then take it to bedford circuit and just drive it around for 8 hours with this face
  4. jesus, joseph, mary that thing really moves.
  5. it wasn't really a "cool story bro" moment. My post is more tongue in cheek. I understand there are no "cool story bro" moments when it comes to driving like a prat i.e. getting collard by plod.
  6. I completely understand. Of course i'm not encouraging racing on public roads as I wasn't. It was just a little fun within the law. But I can understand why people may not see the amusement in boasting about ones driving experiences. Duly noted.
  7. I wish I was a driving hero, the truth is we never really got to any high speeds but stayed @60 round some bends that had me screaming like a school girl . The type of bends that make you think " can I take this doing 50?" the answer is yes! would I do it again? probably not as I knew I was @ my driving limit as was the zed.
  8. An Astra VXR!!!! yes, that's right ladies and gents, I said the "A" word. I've never read "that" post about a certain Astra of the VXR but this weekend I found a blue Vauxhall rapidly getting closer to my bumper in my rear view mirror whilst on a country road on the way home. My mind suddenly flashed to something I had heard about Astra VXRs on this forum. Part of me was quite excited, the rest was just all icy terror. The thought that I was going to be mangled and spat out by a Vauxhall. But I wasn't about to bend over and take one for the team, oh no, the challenge was clearly extended so, I had to take it. I won't go into to details but I will say yes, he was all over me like a vulture on a carcass on the straights BUT, I started to leave him behind on the bends. Mwhahaha!!! I was quite surprised that on standard suspension the zed does handle really well. Apparently Astras don't And in the end, as we approached town limits he was still behind me, not in front but behind, he just didn't have quite enough to overtake. We exchanged thumbs up and went our separate ways. I drove home with a feeling that, yes, my willy is considerably bigger than his
  9. yeah. I hated turning the key to see it there, staring me in the face. Glad it's gone.
  10. what's the difference between oral sex and anal sex? one makes your whole day, the other makes your hole weak.
  11. I had to do this recently. the spacers didn't get rid of the EML so I had it deleted down @ my Mates garage. It hasn't come back
  12. S to the M to the O to the O to the T to the H
  13. Here's a "did you know" that Halloween or Hallow's eve Originates from the Republic of Ireland. Still shite though. And Christmas.
  14. Aren't Gallordos known for catching on fire?
  15. might just be too ahead of its time. Might like it by the time they are roughly 12K
  16. washing it a lot. Since it'll be winter and pigeons' ar$eholes will be so tight that you wouldn't be able to pull a pin out of them with a tractor, no bird crap thankfully, just the damn salt. I hate salt on roads. Chips are fine... just the roads.
  17. I saw this in Banzai magazine last month. Not sure if I like it or not
  18. aha!! this reminds me of my dads love affair with god awful citroens. Yes, that carbuncle on wheels in none other than the CX estate. My dad had one exactly the same as that. Those were dark days. Closely followed by not 1 but 2 citroen SMs! Italian + French engineering.......need I say more.
  19. sorry about my choice of pic as it's ...well, crap. But it's the long vertical object in front of the shock (not a pic of a 350z drop link BTW)
  20. they are part of the suspension set up. Where your suspension takes the big bumps and what not on the road, Drop Links take care of all the small bumps that are too small for the big shocks to deal with.
