My HR didn't use any oil in the year I had it and had done around 8k miles. Not had any problems with the clicky axle or Bose problems, but I've heard these are still common problems in the HR along with all models of the zed. Can't comment on the gearbox, but it's fine for me Engine-wise it's not skipped a beat, absolutely love the way it pulls when I put my foot down, especially after it hits 4k RPM all the way to the redline

Sorry to jump on this, but how easy is it to tap into the power from a cigarette lighter socket to power something else via a switch such as footwell lights? Is there a guide on how to tap the power, etc?

I do, but it's not as bright as I want it to be. It's the same LED as I've got in my sidelights lol Also I think it would look quite nice to have a glow from underneath the strut when opening the boot

I'm looking at getting a strip of LED lights from ebay and sticking them under the rear strut bar in the boot to give out a bit more light when opening the boot. Wanted to know if it's as easy as just wiring into the existing boot light or do I risk blowing the BCM?

That's unbelievable driving laws. Over here it's a straight fail you touch the kerb and bumping anything at all especially another car would see a big red cross on your test sheet

I have a used Bosch Classixx dishwasher for sale. It's working fine but we have upgraded to a newer one. You'll need the following mate: 2 x 501 for the front sidelights 2 x 501 for the number plate lights 1 x 501 for the boot light 2 x 32mm festoons for the interior It's simple plug and play, you won't need any resistors. Just do a quick search on eBay and get them from a reputable seller. I've had mine in a year and no problems. But then again I've heard others complain there's have gone out after a while. To be honest for a couple of quid you can just buy some extras and keep them handy in case you need a spare
