I had to use a pair of grips on the shaft below the gear knob and got a pal to force the gear knob round from the passenger side as I couldn't get enough leverage on my own too much lock tight from the factory maybe, was extremely difficult to remove and unfortunately the oem gear knob was destroyed during removal but was well worth the effort as my replacement is great. I think there is a how to on here somewhere which describes using 2 pairs of grips, be careful not to twist the shaft as may cause damage, good luck

Zeds getting popular round my way lately Spotted a silver 350 in sheldon tesco car park last week then a white 370 at wheat sheaf traffic lights Saturday afternoon and then a dark blue 350 yesterday by Lyndon road ..... Looks like I'm not the only zed in my area anymore

Absolutely agree, except I also add a smug grin into the mix OP- as for mondeo man he's an obvious tool and is best ignored, when he ends up in a ditch smile nicely as you drive past in your far superior zed

Absolutely agree...... there's always a sting somewhere but at least for some (me included) it will be a whole lot easier paying monthly DD rather than the whole lot in a lump
