At my works car park I always try to park in a end bay and park as far over as possible Still parking like a **** but atleast I'm only taking 1 space

Insurance companies generally ask for claims & conviction history for previous 5 years, I remember when I faced a similar dilemma, I had even paid an extra premium to protect my ncb but come renewal time my premium had increased due a claim I'd made, I was hit by a stolen car so had to claim off my own policy as the joyriders were never brought to justice, but even though I had not lost any ncb my premium increased and unfortunately that claim haunted me every year until the 5 year period was spent

To be fair I would say run a couple of insurance quotes over internet (just use an alias to avoid confusion when you come to renew) but use your correct details, age, ncb etc see how much difference it makes with a recent claim added then compare the difference in renewal cost + your excess verses paying for the repair out your own pocket, sometimes it's the cheaper option not to claim, seems wrong I know but you may get stung when you renew

Where I'm from we call that estate justice works for me, if I ever come to power I'll pass it as law

Irresponsible animal owners are at fault 100% of the time, unfortunately the animal, a dog in the instances mentioned does not really know any better, I lost my previous cat to an irresponsible dog owner, the dog was just doing his owners bidding so the owner deserved at the very least to be enlightened with regard to the error of his ways IMO there are only bad people who are supposedly responsible for their pets hope your little friend is on the mend and gets well soon

Had a bit of a result or a reprieve Just popped in to my local wheel/tyre specialist and the fitter gave it the ok said it shouldn't compromise safety as it was in his words cosmetic as it had only scalloped a thin piece of rubber from the bead so panic over for now, just got to book in at my local TWS. What a relief I didn't really want to shell out for tyres as I'm hoping to get some 20s ASAP

I try to avoid supermarket car parks tbh In fact car parks in general as there is an unimaginable amount of muppets out there that I've personally watched slam open their doors into the car next to where they've parked or touch park or scuff someone's bumper wing etc and just shrug it off, I even approached one lad some time ago who had just left a lovely dent in someone's pride and joy and he was amazed at my reaction, it's just a car blah blah etc so on the rare occasion when I have to park in one of these god awful places I either stay with my car or park like I did in the pic and buy 2 tickets, may sound harsh & probably a bit selfish but Johnny chav or whoever doesn't give a hoot, yesterday's post in they shouldn't be on the road sums it up for me, IMO the majority of drivers either don't care or are just too bloody stupid to know better, end of rant
