  1. Raptor wont fit on most UK roads, but the LFA is awesome!!!
  2. Im taking the MX5 to these 2 track days Doubt the GTR would make it through the gate!
  3. Im going on either 14th or 20th.... cant remember which... Thruxton is the other one
  4. Big year for me and the missus move away from London 4 weeks in South Africa in 4 weeks time Couple of GTR Owners Club events (2 week tour and Nurburgring 24H race) GTR fully track ready - not much left to do 240z finished MK1 escort finished MX5 track ready
  5. Need to notify HMRC as well I think.... Get on with the Nissan OC over there, they have much better support than Nissan UK offers. GTROC is doing Nurburgring 24H race should be fun!
  6. that picture made me feel sick, like when you first fall in love lol. made me so sad too knowing i could never afford one haha! I felt the same way Its from the ASDA Charity day, awesome event!! They are a good investment holding value nicely!
  7. Thanks..... still a way off getting the 240z and the Escort back....... although the Escort may go straight up for sale to fund a car for the missus. Theres a car she has wanted for ages and her birthday is at the end of the year, so might be able to get it right.
  8. Collected my car on the weekend missed it sooooo much! Have had a couple of minor things done, like the auto folding mirrors... but the 2 big things that were changed:- #1 the interior trim from wrapped to dipped - looks much better IMO. Will get some photos this weekend #2 brake cooling thanks Sly (Kaizer Motors) this is the first kit of many (I hope). Next (will done in April):- -retrim steering wheel -larger shift paddles (R35 Andy) once they have been dipped to match -forge trans cooler
  9. What happened to this one? http://www.worldcarfans.com/111092036751/2014-jensen-interceptor-announced
  10. Sorry, going to have to completely disagree! I completely respect Darren for what is he is doing, but come on..... just because he knows how to do this "he loves and respects the car more". Seriously??!?!??? just because I choose to do what I am good at and pay someone else to do the work I dont "love it" as much...................... That wasn't a dig at you Graham, I am also enjoying your build thread and am looking forward to your 240 being finished too. If I had the money I would also be doing something similar to you (As I could never do what Darren and Leon are doing) and I would absolutely treasure the finished car. My point was more to do with the amount of man hours invested in the build would give you more of a connection to that car as you know you have fixed and finished every single part. I know it wasnt a dig, dont worry about that I still disagree though - but this is Darrens build and I happy to leave at "agree to disagree" will need to discuss over a beer or 2 with Darren, once his car is finally finished and good luck with yours! We are going to have to get all the completed cars together for a couple of pics
  11. Its good so far I have the GTR for the GT side of things, definitely wouldnt use the MX5 for a long trip.... for my years budget of tyres and brakes for the GTR I can do all the work on the GTR Will see how things go this year, missus needs to see what she likes/prefers track, rally, drift, etc. Once she has decided that, will decide if we stick with the MX5 or go for something AWD or whatever.... Has been so far
  12. After letting the missus loose on Silvertone in the GTR (what was I thinking), she decided she wanted to do a few more days in something a little cheaper than the GTR. So we sold the 350z (a little too much power to the rear wheels for her) and bought a nice little MX5 mk2 (comes with a torsen LSD). Currently the car is away being prepped:- -hard top -rear roll bar -full service - all fluids -brake stopper -braided brake lines -tow straps Next will be:- -steering wheel -bucket seats -harnesses -custom aero And if she gets on with the car, during next winter we will be supercharging it.

  20. If we are talking supras, then the Jun Supra MUST be mentioned!
  21. speaking from experience.................. more than enough Well the other car program "Classic Cars" with Jodie Kidd has said that the 240z is one of the next classics and should see 50k prices for good ones in the next few years. I really do hope so After all, there is not many left...... 240z, but doesnt differentiate between RHD and LHD. https://www.howmanyleft.co.uk/vehicle/datsun_240z
