45k miles and I have never had a £3500 bill
-
Estimated at crank I looked at s2000s before going supercharged and after some research many MX5 owners go S2000, then come back and put an SC/turbo on a MX5. Its an awesome little track machine!

I dont want to, but because of split all cash is in companies and apartment. Apartment is retirement fund, so need to keep that.... I will be back in something spring next year, just wait and see!

After almost 2 years of ownership of this awesome little car, the time has come to sell it. Missus and I are splitting so all cars are being sold. Its a 52 plate MX5 mk2.5 Arizona (so comes with a decent diff) with about 75k miles on the clock. The car was bought completely stock and all the mods have been done while I owned the car. Its been great fun on track and I will be sad to see it go. The car is currently running 200bhp with the supercharger. The car was detailed about 6 months ago Modifications:- Engine -Supercharger kit fitted by Skuzzle -Fuel injectors -Intercooler -Oil cooler -ME221 ECU -Cold air intake -engine mounts have been changed as well Transmission -Flyin Miata clutch and flywheel kit Handling -15" Rota wheels in green -Yoko AD08 tyres -TR Lane rollbar -MeisterR ZetaS suspension Brakes -Braided lines -Uprated brake fluid -Jass brake stopper Exterior -Black hard top roof -Tow strap Interior -Sparco Sprint V seats (have some additonal padding for lumber support) -TRS 4 point harnesses -drift style steering wheel -Centre console has been trimmed as I kept catching it with my elbow on track -USB single DIN headunit In its current state of tune, this car is immense on track! The only cars that got passed me were an Audi R8 V10 and my mate in a GTR chasing said R8. I was overtaking C63 AMG mercs, supercharged jags, etc. On track it is just awesome! The history of the car can be found here:- http://www.mx5nutz.c...c=175297&page=1 The car has service history and has been serviced by me, but I will need to confirm exactly when. Overall condition of the car is very good, some minor marks, but only as can be expected for a car of this age. The headlights are not the best. Underside of the car looked very good with no rust. The car is currently at Skuzzle having some minor work done and a remap on to vpower, as previously it was standard unleaded. I will need to get the car MOTd, but that will be done before sale. Price - £4500

After more than 5 years of owning this utterly brilliant car, it needs to be sold. I bought the car new (from Middlehurst) in August 2011. So its a 2010 model but on an 11 plate. It has been well looked after by Sly from day 1 and is still serviced by him at least twice a year. The car has been detailed at least once a year and will go in for a detail prior to sale ready for the new owner. Nissan R35 GTR Black Edition Red Under 45k miles (will go up as its being used) 654bhp MOT was done in August Engine -Litchfield intakes -Whifbitz silenced ypipe -Milltek downpipes -ASNU injectors -Forge headertank -Stainless steel undertray bolts -ECUTek V5 Litchfield map -ECUTek Nismo gearbox map -ECUTek cable -Powder coated manifold, with engine cover removed -Pop-up cancellors Transmission -Litchfield bellhousing fix -Forge transmission cooler Handling -20" Projex wheels -Toyo R888R staggered setup (new fronts are about to go and the rears have 4mm) -Eibach anti-rollbars -MY12 suspension Brakes -DBA discs (new front discs, Alcons are about to go on) -Pagid RS29 pads (new fronts are about to go on) -Braided lines -Uprated brake fluid -New rear brake clips - rattle fix -Custom brake cooling ducts (ducted air from the front to the middle back of the discs - cannot get beyond orange on AP temp paint) Exterior -Big-mouth front satin black wrap (done in July this year) -Ducktail bootlid - colour coded -Satin black wrapped front splitter (done in July this year) -Satin blackwrapped bonnet vents (done in July this year) -Satin blackwrapped mirrors (done in July this year) -Satin blackwrapped side skirts (done in July this year) -Satin blackwrapped rear splitter (done in July this year) -Calipers painted black (fronts are about to be re-done) -Exhaust tips painted black -Top Secret auto folding mirror kit -4 rear light kit -Custom hidden mounting for BenSopra style rear spoiler Interior -Carbon dipped gear surround -Carbon dipped centre console -Carbon dipped vents -Carbon dipped door trim -Carbon dipped paddles -Larger shift paddles -Trimmed steering wheel -BlackVue HD (front and passanger facing) -Front and rear facing parking cameras -Audio Vision front door speakers -Custom sub box (JL 8", Vibe AMP) -SatNav has been upgraded to 2012 -Tracker (aftermarket one) -Luxury mats The car has been a pleasure to own, with very few issues. I have had an issue with the battery not holding charge (battery was replaced), steering lock recall by Nissan, headlamp condensation (Nissan replaced) and an o2 sensor issue (both replaced). Excluding stock and Miskin, I believe this is one of the quietest exhaust systems going, I have been tested at 90db static at Thruxton, Castle Combe and Goodwood. However driveby at Goodwood got all the way up to 104db The car has been used as it should be on road trips, events, track, etc and most will probably the know the car. Here is the thread of the life of the car so far:- http://www.gtr.co.uk/forum/164758-my-gtr-red-my10.html Photos of the car over time:- Nissan GTR by Graham ... | Photobucket Price is:- £42500

Awesome result, but they shouldnt be told how they were caught... would be interesting how to see how many times they fall for it. -
Anyone else think this looks gorgeous???

I really like it..... wish Mazda would FI the cars from the beginning, my old one with a SC is lovely!!! -
Update:- Unfortunately, its not good news.... the company I was using has been having problems over the last few months and has gone into liquidation. Such a shame has his bodywork skills were brilliant. The good news, is that the car is being shipped to Sly today for him to finish. Im hoping the list to finish is short, but will see once Sly gets the car. -wire in dash (maybe some dash and ignition parts) - new loom should be complete -front brakes need attention -new steering wheel required -make it work -bumpers -MOT

wow, awesome progress! Congrats!

Agree, but it would be worth it....

Well as they say, money wont make you happy, but it does make enjoying life a little easier. Im in the lucky position that I earn decent money and dont mind my job. I have days where I really dont want to get up, but the lifestyle I live makes up for those days. I work with good people (most of the time) and we have a laugh. Would still pack it all in tomorrow if won the lottery. As for your scenario, reasonable money, well that would be make it very tough! Must admit, I do keep thinking that maybe I should chuck it all in and go live somewhere cheap, but then what?!?

Mine has been ordered, dropped my 6 on holiday and broke the screen

Older Porsche spyder? They are holding value very well..... love the sound as well
-
Definitely..... Cheap, ugly, but works well http://www.gtr.co.uk...add-system.html
-
Just get the Renault that sounds like a GTR inside.... infact you can choose your soundtrack Im sure they would ask you to leave.
-
You can hear the GTR at the other side of the track
-
No, Im HyperOptic 1GB internet
-
And there in lies the problem, a static test follows the same standard, .5mtr at 45 degress, we can all test for that, drive bys are vague, no more than 10 meters (so could be one metre), next to buildings, etc etc Definitely.... and at Goodwood, drivebys will catch me, apparently not so at Brands.... friends have been round in cars making more noise. Tempted to go this afternoon and find out

Hahaa, my experience with Virgin was shocking!!!! They couldnt even get a telephone line to work in central London. Signed up for an 18 month contract and it was cancelled after 2 with no cost due to their incompetence. Now with hyperoptic up to 1GB oh yes and get about 70mb up!!! BTW - at my previous place, when we did finally get BT Fibre, about 4 miles from exchange, speed was around 50mb and was rather consist.
