  1. Can't you just use four axle stands and a trolley jack to lift it up instead? http://www.sgs-engineering.com/hydraulic-jacks/trolley-jacks http://www.sgs-engineering.com/hydraulic-jacks/axle-stands
  2. Jeez! Its an old topic so prices may have changed, but Alex was selling spark plug set for £45 iirc, all you need is a spark plug socket from Halfords for 8 quid and about 45 mins of time. £180...seriously Nissan! ...But they stamp your service book too. They don't call them "Stealers" for nothing.
  3. Rofl. You'd think so wouldn't you. I would say you are getting rinsed a lot by that garage RatedR. If your exhaust has really had it then I'd take this as a blessing and just upgrade to stainless steel as the Cougar Store offered. No more problems with that then ever!.
  4. I would have thought so too as long as it's not buckled but a tyre centre can tell you that as soon as they put it on a balancing machine I believe. Tyre's fooked though. Bad luck wizurd but glad there was no damage to yourself or more importantly the Zed (or should that be the other way around?!).
  5. Damn it, why couldn't we see what he did.
  6. Sound is spot on but the quality isn't great. Must emphasize though that is nothing to do with the company who did the conversion. The video I sent them was of four track day's that I had done from 2001,2003 (x2) and one from 2007. I had put these on to an old VHS cassette that already been used to record countless films from TV back in the 1990's so the video it's self was already poor quality. The last time I watched the video (probably 2008) on a VHS player I could not get it to track right so was unable to watch any of the video at all. Tbh I'm amazed that they managed to put it on a DVD at all. I'd definitely recommend them 14N. If your videos are in good condition already then I'm sure that they'll be just as good, if not better on DVD.
  7. Don't like the colour but love the car.
  8. Update for anyone interested in this; I used this company that Pete (JetSet) suggested (http://www.thevhsconverter.co.uk/) and have just received my DVD from them today. Service was very good tbh, priced reasonably and very quick turn around time. Not sure I'd want to use this way if I had lot's of tapes to convert but as I only had one I was very pleased with the price.
  9. Very nasty & lucky guy to get out in relatively one piece. Don't think that will polish out though.
  10. Some more green & black ideas for you bizz.
  11. Yes it is a import. Owned it a month now and loving it.. Still lots to ggrrrrr lol it's never ending with looks and mods. Sound's like you have contracted "Zeditus". Happened to me within a day or so of owning my Zed. Don't worry it's not life threatening but your wallet will take a big hit.
  12. That sort of mileage you should really have your spark plugs changed btw if you haven't already. Around £180+VAT from Nissan.
  13. Yeah just been watching this. I've used Envirophone in the past and found them to be good and also Orange Recycle & Reward. Used envirofone and found them to be a much of cowboys. Sent phone in perfect condition, report came back that it was water damaged so offered me 10% of the original offer. Refused and got the phone back to find they had put a big scratch down the back which reduced the value I got from O2 who incidentally reported apart from the scratch the phone was mint. To be honest I think they are all as bad as each other What a nightmare. My experience with Envirofone was probably ten years ago now so maybe they just got worse with time. Gutted for you.
  14. Not much of a mod but I did just put on a new Nismo 1.3bar radiator cap. Look's nicer than the standard Nissan one though.
  15. No The G Man. I was replying to post n#22 by Ekona if you read my post n#23 with regards to older people being significantly inferior in terms of lane discipline and indicating compared to some younger drivers. Think we got our wire's crossed. As regards to wanting to race the Zed, all sorts do I've found.
  16. Yeah just been watching this. I've used Envirophone in the past and found them to be good and also Orange Recycle & Reward.
  17. Maybe it all depends on where you live & what time you drive etc The G Man. I drive mainly at rush hours in Cardiff through mainly suburban areas and find the worst offenders to be middle aged/& older men/women on there way to work/drop off the kids etc. Only my opinion though.
  18. Totally agree on that point Dan. Really boils my blood when people don't indicate/cut you up & generally don't keep within the lines whilst driving. Even more annoying when you look at the driver only to see it isn't a young chav but someone who really should know better. ...And what happens if you beep or flash to show your annoyance at there driving standard? They flip you the bird or worse!
  19. I'd say for definite keep it all the same tread pattern all round.
  20. Alfa, Aston, Audi, Bentley, BMW, Bristol, Bugatti, Citroen, Caterham, Chrysler, Chevrolet, Corvette, Daihatsu, Dodge, Ferrari, Ford, Fiat, Ginetta, Honda, Holden, Infiniti, Jaguar, Jeep, Lancia, Lexus, Lotus, Marcus, Mazda, MG, Mini, Mitsubishi, Morgan, Peugeot, Porsche, Radical, Range Rover, Renault, Rolls Royce, Saab, Seat, Skoda, Subaru, Smart, Suzuki, Tesla, Toyota, TVR, Vauxhall, VW, Volvo, Westfield, etc etc.... Let's be honest ~ there all bl**dy annoying when there up your ar*e but who can blame them for wanting to get close as the Zed has the best looking ar*e of the lot.
  21. Look's awesome, really AWESOME, ...but I think what we all want to see is some sexy girl riding that gear knob.
  22. Is your's the Fairlady then? Jap import? Just guessing from the square plates. Looks very good with the colour coded bit's imo.
  23. Look's good from here zippypooz although the colours not my favourite obviously. Thing with wraps is I've seen some bad ones that looked good from a distance but it's when you get up close that you can see the problems. For example; Myself & a mate of mine used to run our own catering company together, we had our 7 metre Iveco van wrapped with logos/pics etc. Looked great at first but then we noticed that the muppets who did it had cut too deep with there scalpels and actually scored lines in to the paint work. Some of which where down to bare metal. I'm sure though you haven't done that but just saying that's all.
  24. Looks nice & clean. Got to love that ar*e in your third picture. The Zed always look's so damn good from the rear imo.
