Hi Ben, as soon as I started reading the spec/miles etc I was thinking £6-6.5k for sure but with it being a Cat D at one stage it maybe a little less. I'd try going for £6.5k and then you can come down a little if need be for a buyer once you get some interest.

Sound's good as pictures of Zeds are always welcome. I've only seen one or two Zed's down this neck of the wood's but it's nice having a bit of a rarer car.

Welcome aboard Mike. As for the wheel question; there are a standard set of forged Rays alloys in the "For Sale" section now at around £500 with tyres which is a fair price. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/77011-18-rays-forged-with-tyres-500/ Also seen some on eBay the other day as well so yes they do come up for sale fairly often. As for the clutch issue I have no idea why it's squeaking but a careful squirt of WD40 somewhere near a pivot point may sort that and the 350 does have a heavy clutch so I wouldn't worry about that. Just make sure everything fit's perfectly before it goes off to paint. About a decade a go I was working at a classic car restorer's doing an MGB 1.8 conversion to Rover V8 on my Bosses car with him. Everything seemed to fit/line up great so off to paint it went. When it came back something was hitting the transmission tunnel when we tried to fit it all in again. The problem was when we trial fitted the engine & box we didn't have the starter motor fitted so the only option was taking a great big lump hammer to the transmission tunnel to get it to fit. Not nice doing that to a new paint job but at least it was hidden underneath the car. Keep up the good work.

Do you mean for the 1/24th scale model's like the 350z model? If so, then yes there are different 1/24th scale wheels you can buy but generally these are just ones from other models so finding a set of forged Rays might be a bit difficult (http://www.ebay.co.u...=item2ec6f13194). You can however use car body fillers etc to modify the original body kit if you've got the skills or use parts from other model kits to make it more unique.

That's really cool, apart from the crashing part obviously. I've never built any air craft but have always fancied having a go although my mate bought an expensive helicopter which he never even got off the ground before it ended up for sale on eBay which put me off. I do have a Thunder Tiger TS4N 1/10th scale car though which I have spent a ridiculous amount of money on. Needless to say it is now a "shelf Queen" and I never use it for fear of crashing it & smashing up several hundred pounds worth of carbon, titanium & aluminium parts.

Last time I looked in here all that was happening was welding, welding & more welding. Now there's a stonking great engine and gearbox looking like it's almost fitted already!! Be done in no time by the look's of it then bizz.

Very nice head unit The Bounty Bar Kid and great looking Zed. First time I've looked at your thread. I just got a new head unit fitted on Friday as the one that was in the car had developed a fault which wasn't fixable without shelling out £200+ so I thought sod that. Got a great deal from my audio place who sold me an ex-demo Pioneer head unit. Not quite as good as yours but I'm pleased enough with it.

As others have said your best bet is spraying them yourself with a spray can. The badges are only stuck on so just heat them up with a hairdryer, then get something like fishing line and gently slide it behind the badge to begin lifting it off the car. Once it's started to move you can then just use your finger nails to prise it off the rest of the way. Then remove all the old glue/sticky pad from your car & badge. Prepare badge for spraying by keying up the surface with some fine wet & dry paper. Then spray it in your chosen colour. For sticking the badges back on I believe lot's of people use 3M double sided sticky tape. Hope that helps.
