  1. Forget the bhp gains, it's about how it sounds afterwards imo. Also it will look great afterwards and last the life of the Zed easily.
  2. Great news. Glad you're pleased and I did exactly the same when I got my 350 ~ spent the entire evening organizing & reading through the paperwork. Photobucket is great for uploading pictures/videos and it's free to join. http://s273.photobucket.com/

    The R33

    Looking good already.
  4. Also just noticed this thread about DRL kits from cs2000; http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/70643-350z-de-drl-reflector-leds-all-sold/
  5. Steering wheel looks great Arran. One question ~ what's with the empty gauge pod on your A pillar? Edit: ignore my question. Oil temp gauge. Just read the page again.
  6. Does look good doesn't it but imo pretty undriveable being that low I'd imagine.
  7. well definetly wouldnt be in to taking the bumper off myself..im an electrician by trdae so wiring the led lights would be the easy bit...to be honest id rather just take it somewhere and pay to have some fitted..arnt there any aftermarket ones i can buy and have fitted? If you read Matts build thread (the first link I gave you to his build thread) then you can see he got his LEDs from eBay. He's a good guy so I'm sure he won't mind you sending him a PM to ask him which ones he bought or if he can provide you with an eBay link. Just go into his thread, hover your arrow cursor over his name and more info will pop up, including a "send message" icon. Click it and just send him a polite message asking him the question.
  8. I use that too and tbh I don't see anything wrong with it so why change it. Now my snow foam on the other hand, ..wish Chris hadn't shown be that Valet Cherry snow foam.
  9. The switch is in a 370Z I believe and NOT the 350Z. Sorry.
  10. That'd never get over my drive.
  11. Yep would be a bumper off job but still not that difficult if you can handle the electrics side of things. How to remove your front bumper guide here; http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/48292-how-to-remove-front-bumper/
  12. Might help more if you could show some examples of your work cmr1991. Even if it's not Zed parts etc it would still be good to see what your work is like. Good luck btw.
  13. Don't worry - on the list lol. Was doing it myself but going to try this place out Caerphilly that was recommended to me by the guy that's dipping some of my car parts at the mo. So going to take the plenum and the strut brace over there. Soooo hopefully can have the plenum, brace and throttle body nice and shiny, some new engine silicone hoses, new battery and brake fluid covers plus something different on the engine cover. All depends on how the dipping goes so fingers crossed :-) Cool. Let me know how the dipping goes & who's doing it as I'm in the market for that at some point. Was going to ask Vlad but he's stopped doing that now, so AquaGraphix in Blackwood is my next option but if there is someone closer that would be cool.
  14. ^^ Sounds great! Just need to change your signature picture now. Edit: my driveway should be less of an issue soon once I get my speed bump delivered & installed.
  15. Not sure on where you get them fitted but I'm sure any auto electrician would be capable of doing it for you. Maybe try a PM to this member called Matt as he just fitted some DRL's to his Zed and they look fantastic. See link; http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/69422-matts-azure-blue-adventure-custom-drls-more-pg18/page__st__340#entry1239315
  16. Looks good. Just need to polish the plenum to match now.
  17. What is the best foam to use with the Karcher , I've used the Halffraud own brand and its not that good. I use this stuff. http://www.ebay.co.u...=item19e9e97079 Wow. That stuff is crazy, goes on like shaving foam. I'm using "Car Plan Demon" snow foam currently but now it just looks like water compared to that stuff.
  18. Well if you had hidden much more of it then guessing would have been a lot harder. Should be a cool car when it's finished. Maybe post some pictures of it in the summer if your old man doesn't mind sharing.
  19. I use this towel for drying on my Zed grundy and it is great imo. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/like/291086232298?hlpht=true&ops=true&viphx=1&lpid=95&device=c&adtype=pla&crdt=0&ff3=1&ff11=ICEP3.0.0&ff12=67&ff13=80&ff14=95&ff19=0
  20. Not sure if you seen this before but if you where small enough it would be a lot more fun driving the car in the video below.
  21. I'd try asking Chris at Tarmac Sportz if he can help you get one. He did a group buy on these before; http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/63528-rare-jdm-engine-cover-group-buy-99-delivered/page__hl__rare @Ceejay29 ~ No idea about the ARC cover sorry but I'm guessing your old mans project is a Mk1 Ford Escort by the looks of the rear wheel arch (although could be a Mk2 possibly ).
