  1. Also make sure you put the rear pipe on the drivers side OVER the top of the rear anti roll (near the diff) and not underneath. It will fit either way but you will lose a lot of ground clearance if you go underneath it.
  2. Thanks! Autobrite magifoam & lance I've found works the best for me Look's like it works a lot better than the snow foam I use. Might look into that stuff once I get through the two litres I've got left of Demon snow foam. Thanks.
  3. Welcome aboard Tom. Lovely Zed you have and your mates one in the background. One question ~ what snow foam are you using? seems to foam up really well.
  4. Cheaper tax then and the added bonus of being able to turn the hazard lights on with your elbow. Just like mine. i do this on a regular basis I think Nissan did it as a "special feature" Means you don't have to take your hands off the wheel.
  5. Brilliant. Glad to read you've still got the Zed though ioneabee.
  6. You're paid a flat rate from memory however most employers cater for this, mine pay full whack while you're out. Your employer/HR have to declare you aren't being paid while your attending for you to qualify for any payment from the judicial system. Thanks for the info. Tbh I hope I never get called up as I can think of better ways to spend a few days from work paid or not. Not to mention work can't do without me. If only.
  7. Welcome aboard. Nice colour Civic but the Zed is miles better. Great colour too.
  8. Do you get paid then whilst on Jury service? Is it the same as your normal wage if so or do they add a little extra for travelling/expenses? Just curious that's all. Never done Jury service myself obviously.
  9. I'm not taking this subject too seriously but it is obvious some of you are. I can understand why though for some, especially the bikers where horse dung may actually be a serious danger to their safety on the road at times and also those who feel it's a bit unfair that horse riders don't clean up after their horses. I mean if a dog owner lets their dog crap in the street without cleaning it up they will get a £75 fine ~ if a horse owner let's their horse crap a 5 metre river down the road f**k all is done about it. Doesn't really seem fair to me. ..and before any nag lovers start bleating on yes I've been around horses & actually ridden them etc etc. My cousins have a farm in Lincolnshire and I'm well aware of how horse's act. I'm also well aware of how some of the horse riders have, just like some cyclists & even some drivers an over exaggerated sense of entitlement to use the roads however they see fit with little or no regard for anyone else on it. Locally though I have often seen some horse riders doing things right ~ they have people with high-vis jacket's in front of the riders and behind walking at least 50metres ahead/behind so that they give drivers ample warning of the horses in the road. A must when on country lanes/busy roads & when coming around blind bends. They ride in single file for the majority of the time. They also have a stable hand walking behind with a bucket and spade who will pick up the horse dung when the horse's drop it on the road. ^^ This is how it should be if horse riders have to use the public roads imo. If not then they shouldn't be on the road & should use the fields as it's safer anyway plus better for the horses hooves. Anyway, ... Just my 2 pence.
  10. That's good to read nowhereboy after all your ups & downs with the Zed. Glad you kept it then I guess.
  11. Brilliant Will. Very happy you're going to be representing the 350Z's at Goodwood mate. Try and get some pictures of the Zed in the Supercar parking area and also you in your best tuxedo.
  12. Yeah I thought so too.. All the 350's Buttons light up right? I heard some talk when I was finding part numbers to get the right buttons for this car that some people didn't get their buttons to illuminate? Surely that's not true. Think it is true unfortunately but only on the earlier 350's as mine don't illuminate (2003 model).
  13. Arr tell me about it. It happened on my last run down to Jason's at Clark customs it had rained a bit and the salters were out. Even with the tarp over the car it didn't stand a chance :-( Don't worry I've recruited a few guys from work to help me do all the prep for paint. Many hands make light work but the more the merrier if anyone else would like to join in :-) I've found this stuff works great on rust bizz. I've seen worse rust anyway so don't worry too much. Once was rebuilding an MGB Midget at a classic car restorers I worked for and I didn't even have to bother undoing the bolts for the seat belts. The rust was so bad I just pulled on them and the captive nuts just ripped out of the rotten floor. ...and the owner had been driving it around like that.
  14. Just fyi ~ all Zeds are "male". If you look between the rear wheels you can quite clearly see the male genitalia of the Zed, ..also know as the rear differential. Seriously though glad you're pleased.
  15. Now I'd buy that if they made it. Could have questions like; "How much oil does the DE engine take?" "What does the GT options pack include?" etc. That's a "Dragons Den" winner I'm sure.
  16. Ok bizz so that little fabricated metal piece looks small so my guess is it's to house a button switch of some description. Btw: not sure if you've noticed but you do seem to have just a little bit of rust going on. Best get the anti rust paint out me thinks.
  17. PMSL. Actually sounds better than some of the cars I have owned in the past.
  18. That's cool. He's a good guy so he should get back to you asap. If no joy from him then there is another member who breaks a few Zeds. Think his name is R35Lee. See this link: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/63996-2004-350z-breaking-all-parts/
