  1. Could always give Alex a PM to see if he has any used ones for sale. http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/137-zmanalex/
  2. Cheers dude. I wanted to make one out of nylon but didn't have the right sized tap to match the shift thread. I drilled the wood a bit too small and let it cut it's own thread when screwing it on. Quite like having a but more leverage with the Zed's "agricultural box, so I've ordered a 70mm extension to go on as well. Should look pretty sweet. Should look good. Seen plenty of drifters with that sort of set up.
  3. Definitely found that interesting. Good on you as well for doing the things you like to your car rather than being peer pressured into following the crowd. I quite like what you've done as well.
  4. You know what they say Will ~ money can't buy you everything. Common sense can't be bought.
  5. Depends on the model Ricey ~ there is a 3.2 V6 Quattro petrol version one that I believe the 0-60 time is around the 5.5 second mark. Been looking at an 08/09 TTS 2l which is 5.4 and averages 35mpg (which will be around 30 but still decent) Sounds good. http://www.carmagazine.co.uk/Drives/Search-Results/First-drives/Audi-TTS-Coupe-2008-CAR-review/

  7. No problem. Oh and if you want to hear what some of the exhausts sound like then there are loads on Youtube and a fair few in this thread; http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/60920-tarmac-sportz-customer-exhaust-videos-thread/ Tbh though you can only tell so much from the videos as it's hard for them to be a 100% accurate to what it will sound like but it gives you an idea at least.
  8. ^^ Kudos for ingenuity but it will be much better when you get the Buddy Club knob on.
  9. +1. Funny seeing that idiot get what he deserves.
  10. My mates Mrs has the TT pictured above SMD but in white though. Believe it's a petrol Quattro and she love's it. Not too slow either from what he's told me after driving it.
  11. So frustrating and bl**dy annoying.
  12. When my original exhaust went on mine I decided to upgrade and replace with a stainless steel item that will last the test of time. Lots of options available for the Zed depending on your budget and what sound/look you'd like to achieve. Two traders on here I'd recommend for the exhaust are Mitz at the Cougar Store; http://cougarstore.co.uk/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=1_10&zenid=bcaa60565806895c2c0f2d2ff1b32aee http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/94-cougar-store/ And Chris at Tarmac Sportz where I got my exhaust: http://www.tarmacsportz.co.uk/products.aspx?CategoryId=32850911-9f8a-43e4-a5fc-24678e254d1d http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/146-tarmac-sportz/ Also worth noting that you could always buy a second hand exhaust for your Zed from here if you find one you like; http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/213-350z-parts-for-sale/ Also worth checking for group buys as you can get decent discounts from the traders this way. I bought my exhaust & high flow cats (Invidia Gemini exhaust system & Berks HFC's) from one of Tarmac Sportz group buys last year. Check the specific traders sections for group buys and also here: http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/33-group-buys/ Re: Removing the handle/housing is really not too difficult at all. My advice would be to follow parts of this guide (it's for a speaker install but clearly shows you how to remove the handles/door pulls); http://liljerk.morpheus.net/350Z/front_speakers/ Hope that helps.

  14. Good luck AKVai and really hope you get some sort of good result from any CCTV footage.
  15. They will probably put a huge speed hump in front of the gate so I can't get in anymore Just waiting on the rear discs & pads to arrive tomorrow hopefully.... Don't worry, ..that won't be a problem for the Jag... They can jump!
  16. Welcome aboard. I'd check the exhaust especially at the rear where the pipes meet the back box as it could be blowing from there. Mine was when I got it and I believe it's commonly where they first go. As for the interior door pulls/switch housings then that too is common. Some people plasti-dip, some respray, some wrap and others like me have them hydro dipped (water transfer printing) which imo is the best option although the most expensive option. Companies like this one; http://www.aquagraphix.co.uk/ , can hydro dip any parts you want in any colour/pattern. Typically you will be looking at £50-£70 to have the interior door pulls dipped in say a carbon fibre pattern.
  17. ^^ They won't like that lot down at the Golf Club.
  18. Supra, bizarrely is the cheapest of the lot Not as desirable that's why.
  19. F**kin' wan**rs! Sorry to see some selfish prat has done this to your Zed. Have you asked in Tescos about their CCTV to see if it was caught on camera? Might be worth a shot as if you can get the car's reg that did it then surely the Police could do something as I'd imagine it would fall under the "leaving the scene of an accident" offence.
  20. Very nice and I know how good this combo sounds.
  21. I absolve you from your sins, in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Nissan 350Z. Amen
