  1. Firstly some nice cars Kevin. All those pictures you've posted though could have been posted on here simply by clicking on the "image" icon in the reply box and pasting the "direct link" url from Photobucket into it. That then will display your pictures like below. Hope that helps for future posts and glad you got out of the crash as that could have been really nasty.
  2. Definitely got some turbo lag there. Very good Damiian.
  3. I have a really short aerial, ..probably 2" at a guess so that's what I'd go for as I think it looks good plus my radio reception is fine with it. Not sure on the gold colour though. Your choice though.
  4. Whether it's from a dealer or private seller unfortunately there are some conning scum bags about either way. So glad you didn't buy a lemon.
  5. Are you sure it's on the inside? Headlights misting/hazing up is a common problem on the Zeds and it's usually on the outside due to UV damage. I recently restored my headlights using a Meguiars headlight restoration kit from eBay that was around £17 delivered. Has made a great difference and I tried to protect it using Turtle wax Ice synthetic paste afterwards as a UV protector although it does seem to be coming back slightly. Will buy a proper UV sealant from GTechniq soon and that should protect them properly then. Link: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/88783-headlight-restored/
  6. Ok just been out measuring the boot of my 03 Zed. I don't think it's going to fit in the boot at all sorry. Even in front of the strut brace it'll be sticking up to high and probably touch the rear window meaning the boot wont close if I've got the dimensions right. Best bet would be to put it in the passengers footwell/seat.
  7. If it was me I'd give the Trax thing a miss, ....unless it's remapped before then of course. Shame but they'll be other events/track days etc and it would be such a shame if something else happened possibly because it's not running "quite" right.
  8. you're not kidding - if you check my 1st post - its a joke gif , but its been fun anyway Longer than your build thread would be if you had one.
  9. Cheers GM, I am feeling a little bit down about it at the moment but I know these are the woes of modding. From what I could tell the car felt less resistant at lower RPMs but it was still a bit jumpy, I'm guessing the map needs to be modified now. Definitely will need the map altered for sure. I'm sure Jez will sort it all out for you.
  10. Exactly, ..not going to be cheap to do. Personally I'd rather buy a £10K TVR Cerbera and spend the rest on restoring it to as new condition & rebuilding the engine.
  11. ..and now you've ruined it for us.
  12. Keep strong it'll all be worth it in the end and come good for you I'm sure.
  13. Boredom? Cyclist discussions do seem to invoke strong opinions from all sides. Edit: BOOM!! page 12. Lol
  14. £30K invested in this one so far and not finished yet.
  15. Not sure if you've come across this site before but have a look as there are loads of Lambo replicas on it from complete cars & kits. Link: http://lamborghinireplica.com/ForSale/For%20Sale.htm Definitely do a build thread on here if you follow through ~ something different after all.
  16. ^^ Pretty unique too Jon ~ your Zed is the only other one I've seen with this gear knob and that's after looking at possibly hundreds of other Zeds interiors.
  17. That's great MPG for any car let alone a 3.5L V6 sports GT. My Zed's a little bit modded and the best I've seen is 30-34MPG+/- on the motorways but that's at "just" above the posted limit. Maybe my right foot need's to lose some weight.
