  5. My sister is an Olympic Volunteer and to that end she's been given a new Bimmer to chauffeur people around for the next four weeks or so. About 4 or 5 weeks ago she was attending "rehearsals" in London and arrived at her venue to be greeted by G4S x 2 security guys with dogs, the dogs were jumping up at the car door and scratching it, when my sister suggested that they needed to get this rectified before the games started she was told "don't worry love we won't be here then , the army will be doing this job!! " So much for the CEO of G4S saying "we only knew 8 or 9 days ago"

  9. +1 I haven't But seriously, that's not the point. Do what you do in your own time but saying it on a public forum is another thing. I think as car clubs go they try to give themselves a good name and distance themselves from behaviour like that. You can see why. The club wont condone the actions of the op. in other forums saying you was racing or bragging about speeding on a "private" road will get you infraction points or banned. Racing ain't cool kids, your not even allowed to do it on track.

  19. I've posted this here because it is meet related and the original thread for the Wales raffle thread is now locked. I've just posted on Andy's JOGLE cycle ride and asked him if he is raising anything for charity and it got me to thinking, did we receive an acknowledment from Hope House for the money we raised the Wales meet this year? I've searched and can't find anything, apologies if this is a repost or I've missed an announcement
  20. Andy, are you being raising money for a worth while charity for your efforts?
