Certainly if its bouncy the shocks could be getting tired, if the compression arm bushes are knackered you would be better changing them first, check the arb links at the same time and see how it drives then.

Are you sure its the front shocks? The anti roll bar links are a common culprit as are the compression arm bushes which if badly worn will cause the arm to knock on the subframe

If it is the sensor its not difficult to change, we stock them if required.

The Hosetechnik line is a braided line as you would change the brake lines to a braided taking the rigidity and flex out of the hose giving a sharper pedal feel and smoother operation. Have them on the shelf we can supply with fluid if also needed.

Micro cracking like the ones in the pictures is nothing to worry about, you just need to monitor them and change them once larger crack start to appear

I've heard that before but its not correct, pad wear has to do with the pad compound and how much you use the brakes

As Tricky-Ricky says they have had a bit of heat through them, I would be looking at what pad compound you are running and stepping up to something with a higher heat range
