Mine doesn't use any oil between services. The pressure used to sit at just below 30 on hot idle and it would sit dead on 60 at about 2500 hot also. Now it's on just above 0 at idle and 60 at 3500rpm.

I don't believe it to be a problem with the internals bearing clearances etc as the engine runs smooth as anything no odd sounds oil burn etc. No rattles on cold start. The issue with the gaskets seems to be well known over in the states.

Mine is now on 73k used daily on an 08 plate.

Right guys over the last couple of days I have noticed my oil pressure on idle is low. Lower than it usually is. The needle sits literally a needles width above 0 when warmed up. Oil level is fine and was changed around 2000 miles ago. I have been searching the net over the last two days and it seems over the pond they are having the exact same issue with the g35 fitted with the vq35hr. This is a link to a good write up one of them has done. His symptoms describe mine exactly. What are your opinions on this? I had the same issue with my Hr when I got it. Uprev and 15,000 miles later still no return of the stutter! And as you say a much nicer car to drive after the uprev!

I would say cobra for noise. I have one on my HR. Only problem is early morning starts. I must wake up all my neighbours! Haha

Back from my short trip to Vegas! Wow. Amazing place. 5 days wasn't long enough to do anywhere near what we wanted to do! Stayed in the Aria hotel. This place was amazing. If it's the same as what I had with my hr it's a issue with the exhaust valve timing. Common problem fixed with an uprev remap. Speak to mark at abbey. 👠Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
