I've done a bit of BJJ. I used to play a lot of rugby, to a reasonable standard, and obviously train functional strength at the gym, but doing something like Judo or BJJ it's amazing how even though I'm way above average strength it doesn't always equate to dominating your opponent. That's what I enjoyed about BJJ it's about grappling and using skill rather than all out strength. Don't get me wrong having strength helps ultimately, but it is how you apply the strength that's more important. I loved watching the Judo and TKD at the Olympics - so much stamina and control - great stuff. Learning for the sport and the discipline is the way to do it, doing it for anything else is plain stupid. I did some door work for a while and the amount of people that did "moves" to try and put you off or scare you is quite pathetic - it's a shame the wrong people learn it for the wrong reasons. Anyway, great to see people doing Martial Arts and exercise/sport - it's good! And if you can help defend yourself in a situation where you can't run away so much the better.

That's why I like motorbikes, ridiculous power to weight ratio. I've had bikes easily capable of doing 0-100 I'm under 8s. It's a huge rush.

I can certainly advise that stock brakes are crap after a few hot laps, and I push the car hard (as Will370z and Brillo will testify). Definitely worth the upgrade, and certainly getting braided lines as well as better brake fluid too.

As long as it is rear wheel drive, has a good chassis (as good as the 350Z), a good gear box, is comfortable and has decent amount of torque and power then I'm all for it! If it can do the GT thing and be sporty at the same time, as they've done with the 350 - then it's all good.

I'm going for silenced decats - I had a listen they rasp a little but actually sounds awesome.

I'm a project manager in the engineering & construction industry currently working on rail - since I get free travel in London, I don't need a car, so a Zed is perfect as a weekend toy. My other half has a bashed but reliable Corolla which we use if we need 4-5 seats or more space.

Brillo - it literally is just me sitting in the car - for some reason it didn't record the laps - which is annoying as it was one of the most entertaining trackday laps I've had in years. Truly gutted - sorry chaps.

I'm gutted - it only recored the start and the end of the E36 run I'm further annoyed as owing to the fact my head was being pushed down from the roof the camera was only recording the dash and hardly anything out of the screen! I'll post what I can once I've got everything in order, I'll post my spin too
