  1. I was just pulling onto the A23 from the A27 going northbound, and saw a kitted white 350 (I think) tried to catch up to give a wave, but then they bolted. I'm afraid I value my licence too much to have booted it to catch up just to say hi. You kept travelling very fast - I think you were playing with a bike that was also giving a fistful of throttle. Stay safe dude, but from what I saw of your car - it looked and sounded great.
  2. Hot footing it northbound in lane 3 of the m23 just before Gatwick airport. Looked good sounded nice.
  3. As in she had a lip stud and was blonde. No pics as I was driving and didn't have my dashcam on either. Sorry chaps! Move to Sussex though I'm sure they will come out and play again.
  4. One was in Henfield in Sussex, blonde lip stud. One was at a roundabout near lower beeding. Both gave me a cheeky smile and wave. Both made me almost miss they were driving a Zed! Nice to see some ladies driving Zeds!
  5. Nope as I only come this way to visit the in laws!
  6. Convoyed with you for a little. I did pull side by side to give you a wave and a smile but don't think you spotted my blue zed or weren't interested :'(
  7. I sledom pass any other zeds always wave and flash (my lights as well) and grin. So if you see a loon in an Azure in the south east of London that'll be me!
  8. This has not made the future of my Zed look cheap.
  9. Heya FF! Funny seeing you here - I've followed some of your weightlifting posts on OcUK too - I'm into strength training as well as 350Zs! Well there you go! Shame you don't live closer!
  10. Hi Jimbo - this is FF from OcUK Welcome to the best 350z resource and community on the 'net!
  11. Nice looking DE driving towards the Wellhall roundabout towards the old Coronet cinema.
  12. A car enthusiasts worse nightmare It almost gets to a stage where you don't want to take it out because of morons on the road. People laugh at me when I park miles away from everyone else, but that's because I don't trust people to do the right thing. Had they left a note, then at least there's a bit of honesty and the person would have stepped up to their responsibility as being in the wrong. The trouble is, people aren't honest these days. Hope you get it sorted without being too much out of pocket.

    Winter tyres

If we lived in a snowy/icy country I think winter tyres are worth their weight in gold. When I lived in the SE of France, we had glorious sunshine and heat in the summer, but a lot of snow every winter. Most people are offered storage to keep their steel wheels with winter tyres on (or snow tyres depending where you lived). I had an old BMW (with no traction control) and survived every winter thanks to having winter tyres - going up roads that would leave even FWD cars struggling. However it comes down to learning and knowing HOW to drive in adverse conditions - when you do it daily with the right equipment it gets easy. In the UK we seldom get weather that warrants a significant change in tyre, but if you're going for a second set you might as well go for winter tyres, and don't bother with snow tyres, since the winter tyres get up to temperature more quickly and offer better grip at low temperatures.
  14. I'm actually quite a fan of the Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 tyres. I've tried the MPSS and they are brilliant though - but I enjoy and know the characteristics of the Goodyears.
  15. Where from tyreleaders? That's sold me - thanks.
  16. Driving down Victoria way through width restrictions. Sounded lovely.
  17. Pulling out of a driveway, 2 cars behind me, I turned right to go up towards crystal palace, not sure if you spotted me.
  18. Good idea - I'll give that go
  19. Thank you - I'll probably get Sly @ Kaiser motors to place an order. First I have to work out which one it is!
  20. Nothing on the Zed is cheap! That's what keeps the riff raff away from owning them!
  21. Seems like a good excuse to find a few winding roads. I'm pretty sure it is the bearing but I'll try that and pay attention to the noise when cornering. Thanks for the tip.
  22. Hi chaps, Trying to work out if it is a wheel bearing or the diff causing a whirring noise. It's not the gear box, or the drive shaft or engine. Definitely coming from the rear. Starts to hum around 40mph and becomes more pronounced as I go faster. Checked the diff and there are no metal deposits on the magnetic plug, oil has been changed recently and is in good condition. Is there an easy fool proof way of working out whether or not it is the diff or the wheel bearing that is causing that whirring?
  23. I use public transport Makes me look forward to the weekends though.
  24. Now THAT's a car review. What beast - I don't think the Porsche 918 can match that.
