  1. What line of work are you doing? In my experince I've always ended up being at a loss after my expenses come through, that seems pretty good to me.
  2. FOV - Field of view/vision Take a look at this which makes its effect obvious Meh! The PC might have better graphics but it still looks worse in my opinion. Hate the way it puts a fisheye effect on everything, the gameplay looks really weird.
  3. If you're serious about this you should be speaking to a reputable performance garage about possibilities rather than hoping for an answer from a forum. I kinda get the impression you're dreaming a little bit here. If not I hope you have deep pockets man
  4. I picked it up yesterday and have racked up about 10 hours online gameplay so far. I'm finding it pretty frustrating because the maps are so complex and the spawns are all over the place making my style of rushing very hard, I'm constantly getting shot in the back. It's very early days tho and it runs much better than black ops 2 did when it first came out. I actually really enjoyed black ops 2 once I got used to it, the maps were symmetrical and the spawns simple, it allowed for great rushing and fast paced gameplays, also the scorestreak system was great. Cod ghost is forcing me to play a lot more defensively in order to get decent score and KD gameplays.
  5. When the garage took off my old tyres I it became apparent that the old ones were in way worse condition then I thought. The rears were worn quite badly on the inside and the fronts quite badly on the outside. I've just had kumho ku39's fitted all round (fantastic tyres for the money by the way the car is much nicer to drive). Anyway, will I need to get my wheels aligned to make sure the tyres don't wear unevenly again or will that not be needed with new and balanced tyres? The car feels planted and isn't pulling to either side or anything.
  6. I'd want a little off that for the millage on the car tbh. When I put mine up for sale I was asking for 5,800 and it's an 04 with 60,000 miles. I ended up changing my mind anyway tho and keeping it
  7. Quick update, I had the kumho ku39's fitted yesterday along with new pads all round, I also got them to do a quick oil change while they where at it. I've only done about 80 mile on the new tyres so it's so early to give a proper opinion but I must say so far so good. They have transformed the way the car feels to drive actually, so much better, lot's of grip. They do lack a little in steering feel but nothing serious. They come with a decent warranty too! I'll report back after a few hundred more miles....
  8. haha! I always feel horrible whe this happens.
  9. S2000 is plenty fast in my opinion! Would have no trouble keeping up with a Z on the track. I'm planning on picking one up next summer with a bit of luck.
  10. Pretty sure you can pick up anti link bars for sub £100. No idea about the window, I shouldn't imagine that being too much of a problem either tho. Just ask for money off the asking price so you can get em sorted, looks pretty clean, tho the pictures are poor quality.
  11. On another note... Cruise control is a very lazy and dangerous way to drive in my opinion. Scary story that!
  12. I've just had a look now, they're all around the £9k mark, I only paid £7k for mine and only said the value was £7k when I insured it, do you think this makes a difference? Doesn't make a difference mate. If you put 20k they aren't going to pay that out are they? Send over the adverts with similair age and mileage and see what they come back with Insurers will always pay out the market value at the time of the accident unless the car was brand new at the time of the policy's inception in which case the customer would get what they paid for the car, Similar to gap insurance. I think most insurance companies do that now. Also, It can make a difference if the insurer believes you have deliberately mislead them by undervaluing the car, that could mean the premium that was paid was not correct therefore the insurance could be invalid. Obviously thats not the case here but it can and does happen.
  13. I was in revolution performance in Newcastle the other day and we sat looking for pictures of Z's on rota's to try and get an idea what sort of look I was going to be going for in the future. This is exactly what I was looking for! Are the wheels 19's? And how is it lowered? That stance is perfect man.
  14. I get way more attention in the Z from middle aged men than I do boy racers haha! I've had one or two run ins with fellow young n's in jap cars but Im over the whole "street racing" thing now. Not going to lie, I used to enjoy it a few years back, we'd go out in a convoy of jap cars (type r's, evos, scoobs, 350Z's etc) late at night, Used to have a shut down industrial estate we'd meet at just off the A1, it still had working traffic lights.....
  15. Yea, forget boy racers, it's always middle aged men in oil burners that drive like idiots around me. You litteraly can't overtake one without them pulling out the slow lane and getting on your tail. Their ego must take a hit every time someone passes them In a nice car and they feel the need to score some man points by beating said car in a race. Either that or they get excited and want to see you give it some, I'm not sure. I've found those god awful turbo diesel skoda octavia's to be the worst. God knows what they're trying to prove, they would get stomped on if I was stupid enough to entertain the idea.
  16. Nice one man! Right i've wasted enough time looking at tyres now like haha, I'm buying the kumhos, I'll let you know how I get on.
  17. Well I didn't end up ordering them last night. I'm definitely going to get some tonight. I have one more question tho guys Would it be worth while putting kumho ku39s on the front and then putting something more expensive on the rears? Or would it be better to keep the same all round?
  18. Well, I've spent ages trawling through the forums and reading reviews of different tyres and the kumho KU39's keep popping up with good reviews. A few people on here run them and recommend them in other threads on this board too. With budget in mind I think thats what I'm going to go for, as some of you know I'm moving out this month and that extra cash will be useful in my back burner! The Avon ZZ3's look ok but judging by what I've read the kumho's are better for the money I did notice camskill have the nankang NS2 on offer for £60 a corner, they fetch £100 on most other sites, seems like a good deal but there is a lot of bad things being said about that tyre online at the minute haha, don't think I'd want to stoop quite that low.....
  19. Cheers GM! I've been browsing camskill, black circle and oponeo for the last hour or so haha! I'll be staying up to wait for my wages going in tonight and then ordering them straight away as I need them asap and won't have time to do it in the morning. I've narrowed it down to a few choices so far. 1. Kumho KU39 - £100 a corner 2. toyo proxes T1 sport - £119 3. Hankook ventus V12 - £119 4. Falken fk 453 - £119 All of the above have mixed reviews but most of them positive. Particularly like the look of the V12's, thats what I'm swaying towards at the minute. Just noticed the tyres on my car at the moment are a mix match, I'd imagine any of the above is going to be a major improvement on what I'm used to anyway. Pretty excited now!!
  20. My car is not drivable so I need to sort something out asap, great idea with the rays man but I don't have time to wait about for some to come up for sale. I need the tyres fitted within a couple of days really. Had to get the bus to work today (not fun). Lets say I have an absolute maximum budget of 120 a corner for rubber, what would you guys go for? There is so much choice out there and most of the tyres have very mixed reviews!
  21. Cheers! I think blackcircles are cheaper actually unless I'm looking at the wrong ones... http://www.blackcircles.com/catalogue/falken/azenis-fk-453/225/45/R18/Y/95/m?returnurl=%2forder%2ftyres%3f%26width%3d225%26profile%3d45%26rim%3d18%26speed%3dZ&tyre=31732189 These are similar priced and have pretty good reviews too http://www.blackcircles.com/catalogue/falken/ziex-ze-914/225/45/R18/W/95/m?returnurl=%2forder%2ftyres%3f%26width%3d225%26profile%3d45%26rim%3d18%26speed%3dAny&tyre=31733215 I really don't want to spend much more tha £100 a corner if it can be helped.
  22. Yea man, once people started getting interested in buying the car the reality of what I was doing set in and I changed my mind. It is a constant drain on my funds but hey, if you want nice things you gotta pay for em right? I'll just have to curb my extra curricular drinking activities on the weekends for a little while Cheers guys, when searching for tyres what are the exact spec's I should be looking for? Sorry for the noob question but I can't seem to find a straight answer.
  23. I did put my car up for sale briefly but I got cold feet and decided to keep it. I think I'd struggle to get another one in the condition of mine for the same sort of price later on down the line and it hasn't missed a beat since me owning it, I had a sudden change of heart so I'm sorry if i've wasted anyones time, I have asked the mod's to delete my for sale thread. Just went out for a quick spin to celebrate and enjoy the car and managed to get a nail in the rear tyre, the bloody thing was pancaked by the time I got home, typical eh? I've decided it's a good excuse to get some new rubber all round. I think I'm going to go for something like falcon fk453's. Am I right in thinking the standard Z wheels (non GT) are 225/45 front and 245/45 on the rear? And is there anywhere online that stands out as the cheapest place to purchase tyres from, or is it just a case of shopping about? I'm going to pick up some spacers for the wheels while I'm at it, any particular brand I should look out for? Do any of the traders on this forum sell them? Thanks guys, looks like I'll be sticking around for a bit longer after all
