advised to raise with insurance company under "reasonable care/skill" as they asked 3rd party windscreen fitters to undertake anybody gone through this situation?

never thought about raising the issue with the original fitter assumed it was too long since the previous fitting ie 3 years+ need to confirm the fitter used, but iirc the one i used has a guarantee for the life of the vehicle

having issues with rust around the A pillar/roof area - probably best cutting it out anybody know the best people in the UK that could do this kind of work? looking nationwide to get the best work done

anybody know of a bodyshop in Sheffield that has worked on 350z's before? proving difficult as most havent even got a clue how to take the A pillar covers off its a rust issue

samsung s4 is ok most of the time

light kicks in with around 15-20 litres in mine fillup to top is around 60-65 litres each time

feeling your pain atm had to get rid of last cars because of rust - why invest in a rotting shell? ill see what needs doing, worst case when they peel things back and decide what to do with the Z thought things like this didnt happen to the Z - oh, well...

just to add that the rusted area has bloated and cracked the windscreen hence lifting of the panel

obviously not spotted this before as bodywork hidden underneath panel but.... lifted the 'A piller' panel today to find deep rust (flacking metal) spreading from the top corner of the windscreen to the surrounding pillar anybody fixed this area of the Z ?

given current market values of the Z personally recicent about any bodywork insurance claim as its likely to be written off

plently of poor drivers on the road - lots of personal stories mellowed out over time - tend to anticipate and adjust for others nowadays just not worth the drawn out hassle cleaning up aftwards for the sake of a moments ego

yep, apart from the tax is half on a GT4 and Bose drowns out any noise when you turn it up
