  1. There is a facebook group chat going with quite a few Zeds in now that have meets. Think its just called north east zeds
  2. Iv loved it upto now. The weather has made it for me. Get in every afternoon from work, Put the spare TV in the garden and crack a cold one open. The missus isnt enjoying it quite as much
  3. I had the Cobra rear spoiler on my old car. Hard to find nice rear spoilers for the 350Z Roadster
  4. You can get the 275 which fit on the rear but not the 245 for the front last time i checked
  5. Don't think I will even bother trying. Spoke to a guy at work who has the same bubbling paint on his x-trail which he bought brand new and its only just had its first service which was a Nissan dealer. Nissan have said it must be from a stone chip (its on the side under the mirror) and refused to do anything. Iv told him about what was said in here with the ombudsman so he is going to give that a try but more shocking service from Nissan
  6. I really missed having a convertible when I went from my S2000 to my first hard top 350Z. So changed to the roadster which I had for 3 years but never really liked the look of the rear of the 350Z roadster and wanted more seats so I was looking for something eye catching that was a 4 seater convertible and everything within the price range I would pay was a BMW or Merc and I just don't find them eye catching enough. Too many on the road now. I sacrificed the 2 extra seats and went 370Z roadster but always keeping my eye out for anything that may tempt me away for under 20 grand which has 4 seats and convertible and nothing has took my fancy yet. Been toying with getting a DB9 soft top which is more money >35 grand but I cant see these dropping in price much more and might even increase so probably wouldn't lose in depreciation anything like you would on newer cars and you get to say you on an Aston
  7. I have this too on my 370Z but I don't have full Nissan dealer service history. Will I not be able to claim? surely the service has nothing to do with corrosion?
  8. have you got anymore pics? from further back?
  9. A lad at work has got one. Sounds nice. He's only 22 but doesn't drink which is where all my money was going when I was that age
  10. Got my exhaust fitted today ordered through cougar store. Excellent customer service from mitz and would 100% buy from they guys again. Spot on
  11. Im going to this on Sunday so thought as its for a good cause id post it up in here and it has a Z on the poster Hopefully get a few people along and get to meet some of you too. Not sure ill be on a stand yet as like most sundays, I might be too hung-over to hang about all day Worth a pop down if you have your sunday spare though and raise some money for a good cause and have a nose around other peoples cars
  12. What is the reason for changing the y-pipe?
  13. Had a similar problem with an S2000 years ago. It was solved by doing a full oil change with a better grade oil. Might be different on these though
  14. Will do when I get delivery and get it fitted. will be at the end of the month hopefully
  15. Sorted. Bought from Mitz from the cougar store. Very happy with the service up to now
  16. I don't really want the full system. I only want the rear section for noise enhancements and I don't want it too loud. Reading other threads I don't think I would get the benefits of a full system without doing anything else to it Is there a forum discount then or at least free delivery?
  17. I have messaged him. Cant see that exhaust on their site though
  18. Im going to get a Cobra cat back exhaust. Before I buy I am just giving any of the traders on here a chance to beat this price if they sell them. If not I will be ordering off these later https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Cobra-Exhaust-System-Fits-370Z-Inc-Centre-Section-Rear-Silencer-Stainless-NZ15/332406642813?epid=1728793555&hash=item4d64fad87d:g:NdkAAOSw1llZcebT Thanks
  19. They have all been second hand cars so couldn't tell you how much they had done when i got them but the first one was about 300 mile. The second I was at the end of a euro trip so been spending a week blasting up mountain passes in the alps around France/Switzerland/Italy etc but I was with about another 7 or 8 cars that didn't have a problem and all made the ring on the way home. The current car has about 45K on the clock so assume its the original clutch but only just had the Pilot sport 4's recently fitted and think they have more grip than the clutch plates when trying to do a burn out
  20. I had the problem with the sticking clutch pedal on the 350 and that was a master cylinder problem. Reading up on it now I could probably do with a stage 1 or 2 clutch too. Never had this problem with any other cars iv owned (S2000 etc) just on the Z's so that's why im thinking torque is the problem. You would just think cars like these would be built to be given a bit of stick
  21. Is it a common problem that the clutches are not robust enough in the Z cars and is there a suggested upgrade if I change again. When had my first 350Z the clutch went in about 3 months. fair enough, wear and tear as it wasn't a brand new one but still under warranty so it was done for free. Then my second 350Z clutch went after a euro trip I had done when I was about 1 mile from the nurburg ring so I had to get the car recovered and never actually did make it to the ring. Now in my 370, I went to pull away at the lights yesterday (might have been showing off a bit) but as with what happens when you try to show off, my revs went full scale and my car just sat there in an all to common smell of clutch again. So my question is, is it my luck, my driving, or is there just too much torque for these cars for the clutches that they fit? and is there a "giving it beans" clutch out there if I need to replace it again before I do another road trip as im starting to not have the confidence that I used to have when doing my road trips?
  22. Has anyone had a front wheel bearing done on their 370? Feeling a bit of roughness so I think mines on its way out but have no idea at what its going to cost to get the bearing replaced. Anyone have any idea?
  23. Usually think you get what you pay for but why don't you try and give us the verdict. We always need a guinea pig in these cases
