  1. Do you just squeeze a couple of tubes into the gearbox filler hole? What about the diff?
  2. How much Molybdenum do I need to add? 30ml tube?
  3. Can somebody recommend me a gearbox and diff oil for my 2003 350z? Could somebody also explain whyI need to add mollyslip or do the oils recommended come with it?
  4. Thanks. I have had the car up on axel stands, and cat get to it. So it looks like a trip to the garage.
  5. Can anyone tell me where on the gearbox I can find the reverse switch? If you have a picture showing its location that would be great. My reverse light has stopped working and so has my rear camera. I checked the bulb and it's ok.
  6. If you want andriod, why not go for a Hudl? Cheap as chips especially if you use you Tesco club card points. It not that hard to build and install a tablet, the hardest bit is getting hold of a sat nav cubby. Couple of slightly older photo's when I had a Nook fitted and before I dicovered flocking.
  7. I seem to have broken this off my battery, can anyone tell me what it is?
  8. I purchased an Alpine PDX-V9 about 5 weeks ago. It was working fine and sounded great, but now I am not getting any sound out of it. The power light on top of the amp comes on and stays lit, but the front blue light flickers on then turns off. I have tried unplugging everything except the power leads and remote and I get the same issue with the blue lights, so I can't see it being a speaker issue. I have checked the power and remote lead and all connections are ok. None of the fuses have blown. my set up comprised of: Pioneer AVH 8500BT Alpine PDX-V9 Hertz ES250.5 sub Morel Tempo 6 coax for the rear. Morel Tempo 6 2 way components for the front. Can anyone suggest what might be wrong? Thanks Ian Hi, I purchased an alpine pdx-v9 about 5 weeks ago. It was working fine, but now I am not getting any sound out of it. 9. I wouldnt mind seeing some more pictures, but I think he's done a good job with the StarWars theme. My Grand kids would love it, but its not the sort of thing I would have as my daily driver.
  10. Some **** managed to scrape the side of my front bumper whilst I was parked up at work. I could just get the front sprayed, but for a while now I have been debating removing my front plate, having the front smoothed over and a retractable plate fitted. My plan was to fit the retractable plate so that it retracts when the car alarm is armed and displays when the car alarm is unarmed. My intention is not to dodge speed camera's, I just thought the plate retracting would look cool, as well as improving the look of the front end. I tried searching the net for answers to a few questions I have regarding the legality of not displaying a number plate whilst parked, but havent really found an answer. I had a look at the DVL website and it states that: "Number plates (also known as licence plates) should show your vehicle registration number correctly. You can’t rearrange letters or numbers, or alter them so that they’re hard to read." I cant find any mention of having to display a number plate whilst parked on the road, but there seem to be a few scare stories of the Police nicking people for perverting the course of justice, just for have a retractable plate. I know that few members on here have them installed, have you had any hassle from the Police? What are people oppinions on fitting a retractable plate?
  11. TK104-Pro is the one I have. http://www.ebay.co.u...=item33861fff02 I paid £65, but you can get them cheaper if you get them from outside the UK. I cant fault mine, it uses a standard O2 sim and all the feaures are accessable via an iPhone/Andriod app. I even have mine connected so that I can remotely cut the fuel if the car is pinched. Accuracy is spot on, I have the external GPS and GPRS antenna hidden under the rear cabin brace bar. I have found it to be accurate to within a few metres.
  12. Thats way over priced, I got the same one for £65. I hardwired it into the car in about 30 mins.
  13. My list : 1. African Queen (1951) 2. The man who would be king (1975) 3. Taken (2008) actors/actresses... 1. Kathleen Hepburn 2. Liam Neeson 3. Sir Anthony Hopkins (mainy for his film "Remains of the day")
  14. Anyone have a pair of tweeter/window quarter panels for sale. I don't need the tweeters, please PM me with details.
  15. I am also interested in a sub enclosure kit as I am getting vibration from the stock location when running an aftermarket sub.
  16. Where did you get the reservior caps?
  17. Also looking at getting this done in leeds. These guys seem to have a pretty good rep on the Pistonheads forum, only down the road from me so think I'll give them a shot http://www.andyturne...r_tracking.html thats about 45 mins from where I am working. Any Idea how much he charges?
  18. Motordyne Plenum Spacer, K&N Typhoon CAI, Berk HFC's, Miltek Exhaust and uprev'd at TDI North saw 310 bhp from my 2003 350z. The biggest difference is the way the car rev's and pulls, great to drive before I Uprev'd - Bloody Fantastic to drive after.
  19. Flat pack all inclusive would be my option. Out of interest, why have the sub speaker facing into the boot? I would be worried that when I put stuff in the boot it would get damage?
  20. As per the title I need an arm rest cubby lid and ash tray lid for a 2003 350z.. Please PM me with details.
