  1. Given the amount of cash I have spent on my 350z, and to keep my wife happy I said she could have a set of alloys for her Grande Punto. She has chosen 2 sets of alloys that she likes. Can someone please do me a massive favour and photoshop the wheels onto the car so she can decide which ones she wants?
  2. Looks great. I can't wait to get my CS painted and fitted. Are those side skirts the Carbon3d ones?
  3. No. I just cut a slit in the rubber grommet, fed the wire through and put a blob of silicon sealant over the grommet to stop water finding its way into the cabin.
  4. For pictures check out my post. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/83016-ice-install-starts-today-any-advice/
  5. I need to remove the panel below the passenger side dash airbag. Is there a guide anywhere?
  6. I have no idea on how to set speakers up, is there an online guide anywhere?
  7. The weather got the best of me today, so I didn't get finished. The rear speakers and sub are installed, along with the amp. I have run all the cables for the front speakers and just tucked them out the way for now. I have everything powered up so that I can at least have some sound for the 200 mile round trip to and from work. The sub sounds bloody fantastic, as do the rear speakers. Hopefully I should be able to get the front door speakers installed next weekend, for now here is how the amp looks, nice and neat and fits perfectly. The amp looks scratched but it's Just needs a good hoover to remove the dust and lint.
  8. I found the grommet, it was under the scuttle behind the battery. I sealed the cut I made with a big glop of clear sealant, I plan on giving my engine bay a good clean when the weather warms up, so will sort out the grime at a later date. I broke my passenger door trim whilst removing it, I didn't realise how brittle it was. So have now posted in the wanted section.
  9. I broke mine whilst installing speaker wire, has anyone got a spare they are willing to sell? This picture shows the drivers side, I need the passenger side.
  10. I got dynamat and silent coat from ebay, I used the silent coat to line the inside of the subwoofer enclosure. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Silent-Coat-2mm-10-Sheets-Car-Deadening-Vibration-Sound-Proofing-Damping-Mat-/161254783955?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item258b88bbd3

  12. Don't spend £72.00 on a rear view camera. I bought a cheap one from bay and it worked perfectly with my Appradio I also used the mike that came with it, there's no reason it won't work with the 8500bt I'm installing.
  13. Finished for the night, but managed to get the subwoofer in and both rear speakers. All the wiring is in apart from the feed from the battery. Here is how the rear looks so far.
  14. Looks like a trip to B&Q then. Wheres es the best place to feed the positive wire through to the battery? I can't see the grommet where the cars wiring loom goes into the cabin, anyone got a picture?
  15. Seats are out along with the interior trim and I have just finished lining out the sub enclosure with 2 layers of dynomat. I now now need to figure out how to attached the sub to the mounting plate, as there is not enough room around the edges to put screws, there's a 1/4 inch gap all the way round. Any ideas?
  16. Send your parts to them, here is the web site for more info http://www.aquagraphix.co.uk. I just bought spare parts and sent them away to be done, this saves any inconvenience whilst waiting with the added benefit of being able to put your car back to standard when it comes to selling. You can then sell your dipped parts on separately.
  17. With lots of advice from OV53 about what kit to get, I have finally got a weekend off work so that I can install this little lot. I plan on using the stock sub position and will seal it with dynomat, hopefully the Hertz ES250.5 sub will work nicely there. The Alpine PDX-9 5 Chanel amp should fit nicely into the cubby behind the passenger seat, the Morel Tempo coax will go into the rear speaker pods and the Tempo 2 ways should sound great in the doors. I have plenty of dynomat to cover the door speaker areas, is it worth putting some inside on the door skin itself? I have 14 awg Stinger pro speaker wire, to run down each side of the car doors and my plan was to run RCA leads from the head unit down one side of the transmission tunnel and the power to the sub down the other side. Does that sound ok? I have a little experience with ICE, but this is my first go at a decent install, so any advice would be most welcome.
  18. Aquagrahpix are the people to go to. I have some more stuff with them being dipped right now. The gold carbon weave looks fantastic and I had considered getting the console covering the transmission tunnel dipped as well.
  19. Interested in the exhaust, engine brace and lip. Do you have any better pictures of the lip?
  20. As per the title I am looking for a carbon engine cover for a DE, like this one sold by Heff a few months ago.
  21. I want to tap into the fuel pump electrical wiring so that I can fit a fuel cut off switch operated by a tracker and relay. Does anyone have a wiring diagram? I was hoping that whilst swapping out my subwoofer this weekend, I could access the fuel pup wiring?
