My car failed its emissions, probably due to the cheap sports cat I have fitted. I have a set of OEM cats to swap over, but I don't want to be swapping cats every 12 months. So can anyone recommend me some sports cats that would definitely pass an MOT.
BTW - I also have a Miltek exhaust fitted.
I need to put my cats back on for the MOT, the problem is that the shielding is knackered/falling apart. Can I get away with removing the shielding for the MOT?
Buy a used sat nav cubby to install your tablet, here's my first go.

I have another spare cubby and plan on building a Mk2 using a Hudl and building a fibre glass surround.
So far I have purchased a chargespeed rear bumper and am waiting for the carbon diffuser to come back in stock. Following advice on here, I now have a set of carbon 3d side skirts also waiting to go on.
I am now trying to decide on what to do with the front end. I don't want a Nismo lip, but quite like the carbon Mines lip and the Greddy lip. I had also considered just putting a carbon insert on the front.
Can anyone offer up suggestions of what might look good/OEM-ish?
me too.
Good quality picture,1080p,in built 8GB memory plus micro slot for card. £90.
Fantastic quality, I was planning on installing one rear facing as well.
Is that vid taken with the baffles fitted? They look like they would compliment my chargespeed rear, I am currently running with a Miltek system and sports cats. I don't want anything that's drones a lot on motorways, but gives a decent rumble when giving it some beans.
V Power here as well.
IMO, with the money I spend on uprated parts, cleaning products, Uprev and the like. I feel I might as well get the best fuel I can.
Thanks for the replies, I might as well wait for the part and get it all fitted at the same time. The only reason I'm not getting RT to fit the parts is because need my car for work and my local body shop provides a courtesy car while they have yours.
Taras seems a top bloke, he even sent me his telephone number to give to the body shop in case they needed advice.
I agree, but they must be busy, as replies to PMs and emails seem to take a good few days. As I want to book the car in to get it all fitted ASAP and only get home on the weekend, the forum seemed the fastest way to get a response.
I now have my charge speed bumper sitting in my shed, thanks Taras.
Unfortunately the carbon diffuser is out of stock for a few months and I was planning on getting the chargespeed fitted along with a set of Carbon 3d skirts when they arrive next week.
Can anyone tell me how the carbon diffuser attaches to the bumper? Is it a DIY job I could do at a later date when it becomes available?
If there's no mayo and no oil in the water, I cant see it being the head gasket. I still think it sounds like either the rad cap or thermostat. Do these cars have engine temp sensors that are likely to fail? On the MX5 it was located at the rear of the engine, a leaking CAS used to cause problems with them.
There are 4x 10mm bolts that hold the speedo on and to get to them you need to pull the lower part of the dash (the part that contains the fuel lid release button etc.. It's just held on by a clip each sided). Then take the lower steering shroud off that is held on by 4 Philips screws. You need a fairly long screw drive to get the the back shroud screws, the binnacle has one electrical connector plug on it. It really is a 10 min job to take out, I haven't taken the binnacle to pieces so have no idea how easy/hard that is.
