    Cubby wanted

Has anyone got a cubby they want to sell? I am looking for the one that goes below the gauges, PM me with details if you have one.
  4. If I took it to a garage, how much do think I would be looking at to get it all done?
  5. I found an article that shows how to replace the parts. http://g35driver.com/forums/brakes-suspension-diy/290966-diy-rear-wheel-bearing-removal-2.html It says that the bearing assembly still needs to be pressed onto the hub assembly?
  6. So replace it with this unit?
  7. Are there any instructions on removing the hub? I don't have access to a press for the bearing, so I would need to take the whole unit out and take it to a garage to swap them over.
  8. I don't have access to a ramp, but have twirled a few spinners in my time. How hard/easy is the job? Is there a guide anywhere?
  9. I have started to notice a noise that sounds like its coming from the passenger rear wheel. It's less noticeable at low speeds, but I hear a low constant rumble at speed, that sounds almost like road/tyre noise. I don't hear it coming from any where else so think it may be a wheel bearing on its way out. How expensive is it to get a bearing replaced?
  10. I'll be phoning on Monday when I get paid and if possible get the work done on the following Sat?
  11. 1: Steel Lynx (December) 2: Squee (Whenever but need a weeks notice) 3: Sharpen (tdi north) 4: Busa1300 (tdi north) 5: Dragon (tdi) 6: Martek ( tdi north, when exhaust and hfc's have been fitted, just waiting date conformation ) 7: Fluke (tdi north - Saturdays only)
  12. If you are thinking about losing the app radio anyway I'd sugest maybe doing that first and getting a simpler head unit with inputs for the tablet you wont need both right? and it will save you a few quid I'm sure over all I might take a look at installing the Nexus in the double din slot. There's a bit to consider, I enjoy listening to the radio and I have a rear camera.
  13. Are Saturdays available? I work away from home and don't get back until after 4 on a Friday.
  14. I don't think there is Aux input on the Appradio 2, so I may try an RCA spltter and then use a mini Jack (3.5mm Stereo) to 2 x phono leads. to go from the Nexus to the car amp. I could play from either the nexus or Appradio and if the Nexus proves to be more usable, I can sell the Appradio.
  15. As their only an hour from me I'd be interested, but it depends on the dates they have in mind? I have plenum spacer, sports cats and K&N Typhoon, so am hoping to see a difference.
  16. Just bought a 32gb Nexus 7 ready to give this a go.
  17. Where did you get the 350z wallpaper for the Nexus from?
  18. Does anyone have a list of their prices?
  19. I had an Australian Redback encased in a gear knob on my MX5.
  20. Excellent write up. I have an Appradio and the sat nav on it is crap, so this would be ideal. Can you hear directions over the radio?
  21. The recently discovered chicken spider that form colonies like meerkats. Sleep together, hunt together and have been appearing in pet shops when mistakenly imported by the pet trade. I used to to have about 32 different species when I was a bit of a spider nut. I only have the one now.
  22. I look forward to seeing how it all goes together.

    Carbon Dipping

I have tried the method shown above, it takes a lot of practice to get it right. I gave up in the end because I just had to keep cleaning the film off due to poor results.
  24. Not the best photo, but here's a picture of mine after a fresh detailing with 3 coats of supernatural wax.
