Thanks for the replies. I did notice that there wasn't a pin on my fronts, but just took it that the rears were 1/2 inch wider. I have 225 on the front and 245 on the rear, so the tyres should be a straight swap.

I have a mate selling a set of rota alloy wheels that I quite like, the trouble is they are all 18" 8j, so would not be staggered. Can I run 225/45/18 all round without adversely effecting the handling or triggering the sensors?

I have a set of redstuff pads for the front and rear, but as I will need time to sort out my rear axel click, can I just fit the redstuff to the front and leave the rears until I get enough time to fix the click at the same time I replace them?

Methanol is nasty stuff to be messing with. I ran 50/50, but found I got better results with just water, use de-ionised water or filtered especially if you live in a hard water area.

It doesn't cool the engine it cools the air running into the engine allowing you to run more timing without det.

I ran an AEM progressive kit on my SC'd MX5 and found their kits great value.

Just in case anyone else has this problem, here is a photo of the wire that powers the antenna. Once I connected this up to a 12v power source (I spliced it into the blue an white wire that turns the amplifier on), my signal massively improved and I can now get every station I want.
