That's interesting Fluke. It seems to have been a positive experience then. I believe Abbey's guys trained them so did you get the feeling they knew what they were about, did they seem to pay attention to detail and behave professionally ? I assume you can recommend them then? They seem to specialise in Jap cars, very friendly bunch and I would definitely recommend them. Don't drink the coffee though . I only had one cup and was pissing for England.

Here is a few photos of what I have been doing today after my trip back from TDI North. The parts have been dipped in a gold weave with a candy lacquer on top. The tablet is a 16 gb Nook HD with a 32 gb micro sd. I won't have time to fit it in the car, as I am working away from home from tomorrow until next weekend. The photos don't do the dip any justice, as they were taken with my iPhone. I plan on polishing and waxing my sunset orange 350z and taking some pictures of the water beading, so that I can use the photo as a back ground on the tablet. Everything will hook up to my Appradio 2 for some dual screen goodness.

I was there today and was probably the best £375 I've spent, it totally transforms the car.

I had my 350z uprev'd today. What a massive difference it's made to the car. I was making 280bhp and running lean, after TDI North finished, I was seeing 301.7. The torque curve looks perfect, and most importantly it drives a damn site better than it did. I didn't expect very much, but the throttle response is fantastic, Uprev'd has totally transformed the car, if you haven't had it done you don't know what your missing.

I'm another old 'un at 48, but my midlife crisis car was a supercharged MX5. My sunset orange 350z is me trying to be sensible.

Mine goes in next Saturday and I have a plenum spacer, K&N Typhoon cold air induction, Hi flow sports cats and Milltek exhaust. I can't wait.

And you took the picture..........? funny you should mention that, I plan on taking a similar picture using my own sunset orange car so that the screen colour etc.. co-ordinate so with my trim.

I made a start on mine today. I am using a Nook HD, I plan on doing a write up and have been taking a few photo's as I go along.

What tablet did you use?

I still haven't started my install, but I have 2 tablets to choose from, I have the Nexus 7 gen 1 and a Nook HD 7". Both work with the TomTom GPS receiver I picked up for £6.00. I the nook is slightly smaller and has a better screen, it also will give me video out. I want to use it with my Appradio 2 for some dual screen coolness.

Can you post up some better day time photos of how it looks?

That's great news. Are you using Bluetooth GPS and how are you outputting the sound from the tablet?

I am in the process of stripping my spare parts down ready to send on Monday and have a quick question to anyone that has had theirs dipped. Did you strip out the gauge pods completely or send what's shown in the photo?

I am having the same parts done and was quoted £200 for the same process. Mine gets sent off this weekend.

Whilst replacing my passenger side rear wheel bearing I notice my brake shoes could do with replacing. I have a set of shoes waiting to go on, but the springs etc look like they could also do with replacing. does anyone know where I can by a couple of sets?

I'm in the middle of sorting out the bearing on the rear passenger side. I have the 4 bolts out that hold the hub on, but can't get the hub off. I have pushed the drive shaft in as far as it will go, is there any thing else I need to do? Is there any more bolts anywhere that I have missed?

What happened to the guy that did this work? Last I heard he was waiting to be set up as a trader on here?

Out of interest, what does fitting those pulleys do/improve?
