Thanks to Phil (OV53), my plans have changed/gotten more expensive. I now have the following on the way: Pioneer AVH-8500BT head unit. Morel Tempo 6 - 2 way component speakers for the front. Hertz ES250.3 - 10" subwoofer. I still haven't decided on the Amp yet although Phil has suggested the Rainbow iPaul 4.300 (4 channel), but it looks like it may be to big for the behind the seat glove box, unless it will fit under the seat. Is it possible to run the rear speakers from the head unit for infill? Another option would be to get a set of Hertz Energy ECX165 6.5 coaxial speakers for the rear and an Alpine PDX-V9 5 channel Amp. The Amp will fit in the glove box and will give a cleaner install. Any opinions are welcome.

Has anyone built a sub box that will fit into the OEM sub location? Free air subs don't seem to be highly rated, so I am looking for some ideas for my ICE install.

The tablet is 16gb Nook Hd with 32gb micro Sd and I have built another one using an Apple Ipad mini, because all my purchases are on the Apple store and I was recently given the mini with a broken back panel.

Can anyone recommend a sub that will fit I the OEM location.

I am planning on putting together a new ICE system to replace my Bose amp, speakers, Appradio 2 and tablet install. I have already purchased a Pioneer AVIC - 8500bt, I have a different tablet already built up in a custom made flocked cubby. I just need to decide on the speakers, sub and amp, I was thinking of the following: Hertz ESK 165 2 way 16.5cm components for the front. £139.00 Hertz ECX 165.5 16.5cm coaxial 210 watt 2 way door speakers for the rear. £89.00 Alpine MRX -v70 5 channel amp. £250.00 Can anyone see a problem with what I have chosen or recommend anything better for the price?

I plan on buying a set of Berk Sports cats and the cheapest I have found them is £430, is there anywhere else that do them cheaper? My MOT is dues soon and I have de-cats on, am I 100% guaranteed to pass with the Berks on?

What size sub can you install in the stock position?

Can anyone tell me what the difference is between the two units? From what I can tell, the only difference is that the AVH-X8500bt has a removable front panel.

I am looking at getting my wife some new alloy wheels for her Fiat Grande Punto. The tyres currently on her car have less that 500 miles on them and are 175/65 R15 and the alloys she likes are 15" 6.5 j, will the tyres she has on the car fit those alloy?

Thanks. Looks like its a Greddy Gracer. I still cant make my mind up about which lip I should get I quite like the front end as it is; but am not sure how the car would look with side skirts and standard front end.

If I remove the boot carpet will the covering plate be directly behind the drivers seat? I just want access to the pump wiring.

Can somebody tell me where the fuel pump is and it it easily accessible?
