  1. I'll buy the old one off you?

    OEM Front bumper

Thats repairable I'd say. some fibreglass on the back to strengthen and filler on the top it should be fine.
  3. If you use 3M VHB tape it won't come off, its what they use for the standard spoiler etc
  4. I completely agree, I feel sorry for his family for the shame it will bring on them, but he had it coming! If it was over here his name would be all over the press as "a lovely lad who wouldn't hurt a fly" etc etc, actually he's driving a 1.5 ton missile at 150mph in an area clearly not designed for it.
  5. It's the Important way of saying....IT Geek Cheers fella's! Messed up my last one I had a few months ago, but been lucky enough with another vacancy opened up, so going in prepared this time! Make sure you have some good questions for them too, make them work for you...just not too much
  6. Lots of tracing where stuff goes wrong, looking a switches etc to make sure the specific network is running to optimum efficiency I'd guess.
  7. I like the 1st one, it's like your car is hunting the sheep
  8. Well this has turned into a cheerful thread! The plate is completely legal for use in the UK. The background colour of the euro flag would only be an issue if I intended to travel outside the UK with the car. I do not. It is not a legal requirement to have the euro flag on the car at all. I just didn't bother having it removed. In the unlikely event of it being an issue for a future owner, I will be keeping the original plates, which could easily be put back on. You're correct, it's not a legal requirement to have the euro flag on there at all, however if you do have it, it should conform to the rules specified. Frankly I couldn't care less if you drove around without plates at all, but if you're going to post up on an internet forum for opinions, you have to take the rough with the smooth. I could have said the red border looks naff, or the writing at the bottom looks cheap and tacky, almost saxo esque, but I didn't, I merely pointed out the fact that the black background is illegal. I've pasted the very clearly worded bit below, just in case your clicky finger is too hurty. Euro symbol If you display the Euro symbol and Great Britain (GB) national identifier on your number plate, then you won’t need a separate GB sticker when travelling within the European Union. The Euro symbol must: be a minimum height of 98mm have a width between 40 and 50mm have a reflective blue background with 12 reflecting yellow stars at the top show the member state (GB) in reflecting white or yellow
  9. Still illegal as the backing of the euro flag isn't blue. https://www.gov.uk/displaying-number-plates/flags-symbols-and-identifiers
  10. I used rivets but I did want it to just come off when I hit it on stuff
  11. Just a quick one, Mishimoto do a lifetime guarantee on all their parts, even if you're in a crash they'll replace the part so long as you have a receipt. Is this still valid if buying through Clark Motorsport?
  12. Personally I'd say forget the mesh, it looks smart without
  13. New wing is just over £100 I think, in black. so add on painting which is anything up to about 200 plus labour of around 50 to fit the wing, I'd say £415 is a good figure. edit: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NISSAN-350Z-2003-Front-Wing-With-Hole-R-h-/400556091728
  14. I spent a week driving around spain and france in a fiat 500 in June, I was amazed at how heavy my clutch felt when I got home!
  15. I'm in Woking, Surrey. We can try a swap if you like, I'm sure there must be someone we can ask, I'm just not sure who
  16. My other half has a 1.1l Kia Picanto, its a great drive, crap plastics and not much poke above 50 though, but as I say, it drives very well. Vehicle tax is only £36 a year and it gets good MPG (no exact figures, sorry!). The only major downside is that they are quite feminine looking, but when I'm driving the car it makes no difference to me.
  17. Occasionally on very cold mornings a CD or 2 wouldn't play, but I'm not sure if that was the CD's themselves or the headunit itself, but as it was never all of the cd's and after 10 minutes or so they would play I'm inclined to say it was the CD's at fault. I'm not really sure in all honesty, maybe £40 or so? I can upload pictures of it when I get home tonight.
  18. I have one you can buy, HOWEVER, I've heard they are matched to the ECU, so I don't know how easy it is to use another one. You might have to either go to nissan to be robbed for a new one, or go aftermarket. Having said that, you're welcome to give mine a go
  19. Jack up from the diff on the rear to save time faffing around Only if you're using a trolley jack though!
  20. You're officially my hero now, the V3 is my fave front end! Please post pics of before during and after
  21. Agreed! When you said 'workshop' I imagined a shed at the bottom of the garden! I wasn't expecting an aircraft hanger
