  1. At the end of the day, if you rely on the system you shouldn't be driving. It's not there to cut in at every junction or roundabout, it's a failsafe. As with the above, I very rarely have it turned on and I'm not even nearly dead (well, from the car anyway!) As much as I'd love to I don't drift everywhere either!

You removed yours? Don't you supply your own though? He removed his inferior quality one and replaced it with his own. I also have one of Ian's and it is too quality! Who manufactured the one that falls apart then? Or what's it branded as? Just so I don't go buying something that's 'less inferior' I have a feeling it was a motordyne one!
  3. That really sounds like the carbon brushes then, a clean of the motor should fix it
  4. Thanks everyone, all of the advise has been greatly recieved even the joke ones. It's always to see other people's point of view from outside of the situation.
  5. Awesome news, looks like it will be the 350z-UK forum vs the MKV Supra forum as they sponsor Ashley Willis!
  6. You were going 174 mph? I thought they topped out at 160?
  7. edited in case this is ever seen Currently not abusive just true, this picture changed that
  8. How did a woman get into a more senior position than a man..... Age, experience, qualifications the normal ways
  9. This, a million times this! I do this now all the time, just because the culture of some people is to blame every one else when stuff goes wrong, so now I do it all to cover my own arse. I'm guessing that having a quiet word with her superior isn't an option? In theory it is, but I don't think it would have any effect. Currently, being naive, I always thought a verbal conversation would be fine. I don't have anything to back myself up so it would be a one word against another arrangement.
  10. I have a colleague who is more senior than me, who recently has been giving me an almost public dressing down when her laziness causes mess ups, nothing is ever her fault and she seems to have periods of passing the buck for everything to a certain person, and then moves onto the next down the line. I'm now worried as I'm the newest member of staff, so I'm thinking that I'm going to get it until something changes, or I flip out and quit. How do you more wise members deal with these things? I'm thinking of adhering to policy rigidly to wind her up, as she always wants a "quick favour" or rejecting requests she makes without fully completing the necessary forms. I've also decided that all conversations will be followed up with an email, confirming what I've just said, as a backup to myself weeks down the line, but is there anything more effective? The company is quite small, so I can't try to move to a different department or anything and I like the company and the job I do, just not the laziness of one individual! I sound like such a wuss!
  11. Then you'll be deaf really quickly. I did cats out, standard y pipe and a straight stainess pipe back to a single jap can, it was quieter with the exhaust ending at the y pipe, the car was horrifically loud, my mrs could hear me over a mile down the road when I was normally accelerating, let alone hammering it.
  12. I did not very much of it in a mustang, I was driving from Santa Monica to Las Vegas so took a short diversion to cover some. I hired the mustang for a week, and I got it through a broker called "US Car Hire" their website is really naff, but they were the cheapest I could find and I got a decent car through Alamo and I didn't get stung on a different return location or a young drivers fee like a lot of places do. I'd really highly recommend them! edit: found the link http://www.uscarhire.com/
  13. Oh and my MOT is being done next week, so I can join in then
  14. How is not enjoying the pleasure of driving your car a good thing?!
  15. Thats not a good price, thats an impossible price - an oil filter trade is about £10, the oil itself is £30 ........ so no labour and definitely not checking anything else .......... Or perhaps they just charge labour and dont change owt? Or they make a small loss on the oil change and make profit when they convince a paranoid owner that his 6 new tyres are 100% needed along with those new brake pads front and rear along with disks, fluid and the new flux capacitor you also really really need.
  16. I steal a fighter jet and start racking up 5 star wanted levels, something to do to pass the bounty time and pretty safe against the buzzard brigade. Good shout! It's a shame the missiles don't lock onto other players cars You get charged for blowing them up anyway if there insured So if I total someone elses car, and they have it insured, I pay?!
  17. I'll give you 3 sets of standard wheels for them, plus a set of 200sx alloys plus a set of nissan primera alloys plus a space saver plus a hug
  18. When I play online the first thing I do is get a chopper, then I'm safe as I keep high up, a chicken, but a safe one!
  19. There's plenty of times it flashed the light up when I first got the car but that was if I gave it beans in the wrong place etc, more through ignorance than anything. I guess since I started going to tracks etc, my road driving has calmed down a lot, and I've learned a lot about "reading the road" and all that stuff.
  20. The only time I've had mine cut in is when I'm driving like a bit of a d!ck really, the odd exception would be in the winter with say a patch of ice off a junction or whatever, but normally it's fine. On the track it was a nightmare though as even when it was "off" it wasn't actually off.
  21. He won't sell the sexy wheels
  22. Why would showing you my tins be awesome? I just love soup!
