Located in Bournemouth buddy, its not really worth it to be honest, they need replacing, its just really annoying that whoever lowered it should have put camber control arms and then the tyres would be fine, loads of tread on 2/3rds

Centres in colour look awesome as above, but not lips

Looks like those awful anodized alloys you used to get on early Advans. Black is about the only colour that works on a lip, except for the obvious, shadow chrome etc

I was always led to believe that they dont use their cars like us, long journeys, commuting etc? Do they also not have a very stringent mot type thing a a certain stage in a cars life that makes it more cost effective to buy new? Is the average mileage of a car in the UK still given at 10 to 12k miles? I also suppose all the rumours of "hair cuts" must have some merit, but i cant quite believe all imports are trimmed.

Would also be interested in a Invidia Gemini exhaust as a p/ex

I hear you buddy and its a difficult one! The wheels are actually in lovely condition, the gold is obviously not to everyones tastes, so if someone wants to spend £200 (which i have dropped the price by) its kind of their choice. I appreciate the tyre comments but again, both front tyres have plenty of tread, so its personally preference to change them. So thats £400 or so, you dont "have to spend". And as you said in your wheel refurb thread, you paid £3k for your wheels alone, well if you spend the £200 on these for your colour choice, they would effectively look brand new wheels for less than half the price and still be worth similar money in a year or more People pay £800 or so for Rotas with poor brand tyres 2nd hand that will be worth about 50p in a couple of years that is if they havent broken/cracked (and yes that has happened to me before anyone asks) Make an offer without the front tyres is the only way i can try to assist.

Having just been in the market for a car, i can safely say, i had no interest in anything else but a Zed. My budget was flexible and there is a plethora of cars out there for not a lot of money these days. I guess if you perhaps had and done the whole Zed thing and you want a change i can understand. Its funny how many people aspire or want to own a Porsche, coming from chats from previous forums also on the what would you change your "car" for topics. I think they are foul things, i am not doubting their performance merits after having driven varying friends cars, but the typical owner (to me) seems more concerned with having a car with the Stuttgart badge and nothing else. I do hanker for a TVR at some point and probably a Tamora or T350/Sagaris if my budget would stretch.

And don't think I've not looked at it....The is a firm in Brum that do LS V8 conversions, they've done them in TVRs, BMWs and RX7's...I can't for the life of me think what they are called, it will come to me...might be dyno tourque or something like that. When i looked at it you were looking at 10k for an LS2 drive in and out. Let me know tye name when it comes to you. From what ive read it's a tricky job due to most LS V8's being lhd setup This is them... http://www.dynotorque.co.uk/ The main chap the Craig is very well repected and so far I've not heard anying negative. Craig is very well respected in the Rx7 community, there was a video on one of the rx7 forums recently with his V8 twin turbo rx7 build on the dyno, 1000bhp or so

Was going to ask the same question myself but decided i would be ..... into the wind and as Crumb says, its his opinion, which everyone is entitled to. How do people compare cars on here then or form an opinion on its peformance merits: 0-60 0-100 50-70 70-90 1/4 mile top speed etc Personally i see track times as very very apparent or you would not have manufacturers so keen to get their new cars posting ring times (James Mays big gripe), but i guess its track abilities are important to me. Just as looks, fuel consumption, insurance, repair bills etc will be important to others.

Just realised these tyre profiles arent ideal on 18's for the Zeds so if you want without tyres, not a problem and price can be adjusted accordingly And some inspiration from the "favourite wheels on a zed thread"

Just been through the "best wheel thread" and loads of love for Volks but none for these Also spoke to a couple of chums today, one a sprayer and one a powdercoater who both said centres could be colour changed for £200 so prepared to take that off the price £1150

I had a exhaust on my Rx7 from TopGear Stockport, its quality was 2nd to none. I do believe though the HKS reps are just bought in and not made in house, so i wonder if they are just Japspeed ones. The after sales though was also superb when i dealt with them and would expect they would rectify any concerns.

How disappointing, just contacted WheelGenie to enquire how much to shadow chrome some 18" lips from a 3 piece split rim if i sent them just the lips and they wont do it unless you send them the whole wheel

+1, they dont look stretched to me but the profile looks to big. I would up the size and lower the profile as you had before.

I love polished rims and if you use the right products on the bare ally, its not too bad to look after. A regular rinse off and dry will keep the shine

All i would say is dont buy cheap tat that ends up worthless. Buy some decent wheels that hold their value and are always desirable if you ever decide to sell

Will p/ex on standard 18" Rays with or without tyres Also happy to let these go without tyres if you want to make me an offer on that basis.
