  1. Did you identify and sort your original concerns from a while back?

    Wheels!

Budget? Chris Wiltshire is selling some nice Varrstoens, I have some awesome Weds Kranze or if your having a general hunt, try japwestmods or jdmdistro.
  3. Remove spacers, stubby and k&ns, wouldnt bother with the rest, afraid I have no idea of trade in value.
  4. Certainly from my Rx7 days, US dyno figures were always taken with a pinch of salt.
  5. +1 No need to remove them, wrap as high up as possible, my manifolds are wrapped too so that probably helps. Its no bad thing anyway, the hotter the exhaust gases can be kept the quicker they exit anyway
  6. Are you talking quoted figures from Nissan, if so they would be flywheel, so you are making more.
  7. http://www.demon-twe...ng-exhaust-wrap Ok, it may sound odd and like it wont work, but will only cost you a few quid to try if you dont believe it. Wrap your hfc's with heat wrap tape, it completely alters the external tone, wrap up as far up the downpipe as you can reach also, make sure its wrapped tight and properly secured. I passed the Thruxton noise test with hfc and true dual exhaust which is the strictest in the country, 90db and never blacked flagged on the drive by.
  8. The worst offenders I know, not doubting the conviction figures just in my experience its the older generation and as we all know, how often do you get pulled when your older compared to when you are a youth, maybe your just statiscally more likely to get caught as a youth?
  9. The worst offenders i know are the older generation bizarrely, 50+, repeat offenders if you like and on the most part they are driving less than 4 miles home. They are not "pi**ed" per say, but they would definitely be over the limit after a few social pints and before anyone says, why dont you shop them, i would, but i only ever hear through friends after they have seen them out and about.
  10. Shame you cant run the old style black/silver, looks a lot more classy imho
  11. It wont be as mentioned, only if the ignition was on, just sounded like a pump of sorts.
  12. Do you have std Bose/nissan audio, not a cd trying to load is it?
  13. Sounds like a fuel pump, but has nothing to do with ignition by the looks of things
  14. Managed to pass Thruxton which seems to be the most stringent so should be ok. Must tick it off the list then
  15. You will need camber arms for most springs if you want to bring your geometry back into line, Eibachs for example. BC coilovers are circa £750 and well regarded
  16. I have not heard one in person but understand them to be LOUD, mot testers "can" fail a car for being excessively loud, but, never heard of it happening, as Ekona says, you will def need cats present so no decat.
  17. I thought it was ugly as sin when i first saw the photos, but it has really grown on me and as you say, the noise
  18. Flat back - sand down till smooth or apply straight over the bobbly plastic.
  19. Why dont you buy it and post up for others if it worked for you? Its £20 guys, whats the worst that can happen, you return it
  20. Yes, it worked on mine but cant guarantee anything obviously.
