  1. What evers on Autotrader/Piston heads right now
  2. I know from a lot of posts you've made about how worried you were and you wanted it all setup perfect but mainly you wanted it as safe and reliable as possible. Just my question is, how come you didn't take it to a garage that had installed this SC before? I don't doubt their work, but if I was worrying about installation and having it setup correct, I'd of chosen some place that had done this install many times.
  3. When I spoke to Amy last, which was at Ace Cafe, there were several spots left that she was awaiting to here from Nissan.
  4. Do we know if it's open to the public, I.e. they can park outside and come and view? Or is it strictly just who ever turns up on the stand is allowed in?
  5. Plus what would you do with all that spare cash from fuel Just set fire to it?
  6. Oh dear, How bads the damage? any pictures?
  7. Still waiting on the response of 'How it's more fun' Someone passionate about cars and driving will know it's not about speeds and 0-60 times...yes it's nice, but it's all about the car and how it handles and how it performs and all it's other features. So you'd have more fun with the leaf on track that the 335i? (Not that that scenario would happen) It's fine that you love this car, and it suits your needs, but in my opinion, these just aren't driver cars.
  8. Maybe the words fun and practical are getting mixed up? #teamtarmac
  9. Might want to hide those video's from the other night Glad you're okay dude. We've all been there, just lucky enough to miss the end result.
  10. I hope you haven’t just compared the drivetrain of something as good as the Tesla to a diesel (Trust me I wouldn’t have swapped my 335i for something that has 0.001% hint of been like our old diesel Civic)...The main reason I love the 109 bhp Leaf, it's more 'fun' to drive than my old 380bhp ICE 335i.... I just don't get how....How is it more fun? I can see these cars appealing to environmentally friendly people, and people who just buy odd car for all the wrong reasons, but I just can't see these ever being attractive to true passionate car fanatics...
  11. I tried again and failed miserably no matter what I try I can't adjust it enough. Oddly enough though the collector after the y pipe has some curious dents in it on both sides as if the metal has contracted inwards. I have emailed Torqen to see if it's a common thing with Motordyne exhausts. Great. another exhaust for you again -.-
  12. Wait, so you bought a steering wheel with out the 'Boss' and now seats with out the subframes? Best place to look - http://www.sportseats4u.co.uk/
  13. If it's genuine, that is a bargain! Material will be just as good as OEM.
  14. Boom, and theres the crippler. If you live in or close to a city, then youve got buses, trains, reliable taxis, you can probably even cycle to where you want to be. If you dont, then anything running on a battery is not going to get you to work and back, knock down the shops, drop the kids off at various parties/clubs and get you home again, and those are just the expected journeys - what if you have to visit a relative in hospital, or go pick the mother in law up from the police station? It also looks like the charge points are mainly in cities as well, theres one about 5 miles from me, then another about 8 and the rest are 12+ miles away, theres only 3 high speed points within the cars range from my house Just to add, what if you're on the M25 and they shut it due to a accident, or major traffic delays etc :S Deffo not for me.
  15. Pronouncing foreign words wrong :S According to wiki.
  16. I think the first point of call is to get a Justgiving page setup, so we can spread it about and get donations
  17. Being on a stand is exactly the same as driving to tesco's and parking up, Will be in the public eye, so it's up to you if you want a dirty or clean car.
  18. Before I start emailing around, Wondered if anyone on here worked for the Hampshire Council. Looking to find out how to organise venues for events etc. I have several locations in mind, these spots have been used over the years for many car shows etc, so it is do able - Just looking to find out the right channels to go about it. So if anyone has any contacts that they can put me in touch with, or know how to approach this, that would be awesome
  19. I'm sure this is the thing I'm thinking of, I ended up using a hair clip
  20. Is this the little pin that goes through the calipers and over the pads?
