  1. Okay, I don't think we have one of these, I know there was a thread floating around a while ago with showing off photo's of anything. This thread I'm hoping to basically get tips on how to use a camera. For example - Post a picture, Followed by what settings, What attachments you used. This will help me out lots As I'm sure to many other too. I'll start it off, I've currently only been using Auto settings (I've had the camera for just over a month - my 1st DSLR - Canon 450d) Now photo's do come out clear, however I want to improve on them. ( I don't know what lenses I have atm, when I'm home I'll update - But I have a short one for close ups, and a long one which acts like a telescope Sorry to any Photographers boffs for using terrible terminology ) I was speaking to a photographer on monday evening who advised me to use AV mode, I've now done a bit of research to learn this can control the shutter speed, which I'm looking forward to trying out soon. I also have a few different lens filters which I need to try. So first up - Photo a took, in the sun. Full Auto Now here is another, but taken by someone else Now the image above seems to be more glossy, brighter, and just in general better (Imo ) - Now is this down to tweaking in photoshop with the contrast? Or settings on a camera? My final picture is another at a sunset Now this isn't as bright as the others, now i'm 99% sure that is just down to it getting darker. Recommendations on settings that should of been used on the shot above? Some pictures of what I'd love to achieve... So just to summarise this thread Post a picture YOU'VE taken, with what settings/Attachments you used **Mods - wasn't sure whether to have this in Off topic or Photo's, if it gains much interest, sticky it in Photo?**
  2. There is a guy on Facebook selling a set of rays with no tyres for 200 if that's cheap enough to solve your needed front wheel issue.
  3. For all, I think the only way to make more money on these, is to sell them individually for when people crash or damage one wheel etc.
  4. You've literally need to have money pouring out your ass though if you're going to pay £1200 a wheel from Nissan As Kyle said, 800-1000 maybe. Afraid they're nothing special, for that money, a lot of people will want to go aftermarket.
  5. I'd drop you like a hat if I could be bothered.
  6. Sort of yes. Basically the shutter speed is slower (longer duration) so it stays open for longer. That's why you get the cool effect of the light trails from things like moving cars etc whilst still keeping your "car" or whatever's standing still in front of the camera in focus nicely. I've done it with fireworks in the past which gave me some fantastic shots considering it was just in my garden. Although pictures of moving cars & star lit night sky's is a much more interesting shot for me. So can it be controlled by the focus point? I.e. anything around the focus point blurs out? Or is it the entire shot, and anything moving gets caught?
  7. Happy birthday dude See you the weekend (Unlike Ian who is a rubbish friend!)
  8. I'm still learning with my camera, Just want to know if this is correct (Trying to work out how this is done) Is this when you set the shutter time? So you 'click the button' hold camera in postision for said time, then after said time picture is taken with everything that happened in the past time since clicking the button? If that makes sense.

    Headlining

Is there any materials you could recommend buddy? I've got a local material shop I could talk to about getting me some to play around with, I've looked online and have no idea what material is what name It would be for headlining.
  10. It annoys me so much that your steering wheel is upside down

Did you just wrap the material round the old one? And just use Material glue to seal it down? Interested to do mine in the future.
  12. Thoughts are with you fella. Only round the corner from that hospital if you guys need anything. As Lyndzz says. Donation site is a good start. I'm sure we could rally an event too. #teamtarmac
  13. Oi! Leave Nankangs alone! Back on topic though, for anyone that says they lost in on a round about or a similar incident, you can't blame it on the tyres (Unless they're bold) It's down to the driver pushing it too hard or not knowing the cars limits. Yes tyres, as Stevo says, will improve the speed you can take a corner, but at the same time - If you're driving normally, budget tyres are NOT going to kill you unless you drive like an idiot.
