I usually judge the needle by how much oil is in the car. When I was running low, the needle ran a lot lower than usual. 1st step to check you oil.

I was on a budget and short time scale, and the only tyres I could get fitted were Nangkangs. Only had them on for a week, but don't see what all the fuss is about. Haven't driven it hard, as I was bedding the tyres in, but I've been driving around town, motorway etc - Doesn't feel anything different to my old bridgestones. You're not going to die with them on I'm sure someone will be along to tell me I'm an idiot and my car is going to implode for running them.
